After Mithun Chakraborty and Jeet, India's former cricketer Sourav Ganguly is hosting the latest season of the controversial reality show. Now, ace Bengali influencer Niranjan Mondal is set to take part in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3.
Niranjan Mondal is a very famous regional creator who has reshaped India's digital landscape. He has brought local languages, cultural nuances, and daily humor into the lives of the middle class. Niranjan stunned his fans when he was decked in a traditional dhoti and kurta. Niranjan, known as Laughtersane, was seen entering the Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 set in the role of a quintessential Bengali babu. He shared:
"I am very childlike. I don’t do any household chores. I don’t know how I will manage here.”
His fans were stunned when he posted a video saying 'Fit check'. Niranjan's fans were shocked that he is appearing on Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3. A user wrote, "I can't believe my eyes. I'm watching the show right now on Star Jalsha... and watching you on TV is really amazing. So happy for you!! Can’t wait to see you in Big Boss every week. My favorite content creator. You are going to kill it."
For the unversed, apart from Niranjan Mondal, Sonamoni Saha, Jhilam Gupta, Srijla Guha, Sayak, Jayita, Alexandra, Dipendu Biswas, Nandini Roy, Mondal, Sohini Pal, Durnibar Saha, Monami Ghosh, Anindya Sengupta, Sohini Paul, Tanushree Roy Das and Bharat Kaul will be seen on the reality show.
West Bengal content creator, Niranjan Mondal has over 1.2 million followers on his Instagram. Earlier, in an interview with Buzz In Content, Niranjan opened up about creativity, cultural identity, and brand pressures. He also shared that the generation loves consuming reel-type content. In his words:
“Everything is content. Even if I shut my brain, in the back of my mind, there is someone who is always looking for content."
The Bigg Boss Bangla house has been designed by none other than Shyam Bhatt and spans 7,000 sq ft. The reality show house has more than 55 cameras in every corner of the house. The design is a celebration of Bengal with reference to the Great Bengal Tiger. It also showcases the state's love for fish, music, and its famous trams and ambassador taxis.
For Niranjan, there will be tough competition in the house, as the controversial reality show features a stellar cast of contestants. For him, balancing growth, authenticity and collaborations all comes down to one rule he strictly follows. In his words:
"Authenticity really matters… people want to see you. With many creators using similar formats, audiences stay only when the creator’s identity is clear."
Niranjan once also opened up about being bullied at school. He shared his experience studying Chartered Accountancy and how, during the pandemic, his journey from making Facebook videos led him to become one of the best-known digital creators in West Bengal. He also made his debut at Cannes 2026.
Niranjan's mom, a nurse, always gave importance to education, while his dad ran a business. Niranjan soon realised that corporate was not meant for him and had also cleared the intermediate level of his CA exam. Niranjan started experimenting with Facebook content before making reels. He feels that he is always an open book to his audience and a creator first, as business follows later.
