Salman Khan will also be back as its host. According to reports, this year's edition will give viewers a never-before-seen “Old vs New” theme. This means that the show will feature not only fresh celebrity contestants, but also some former contestants in the mix.
Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 promises fans a whole lot of entertainment and drama. As the days for the show’s premiere draw near, people cannot wait to find out the names of the contestants. Well, several reports have revealed that, as of now, six contestants are allegedly set to participate. The six names include Rajat Bedi, Jennifer Winget, Niti Taylor, Aryan Kelvin, Zayn Saifi, and Ashish Chanchlani.
Among the six, Rajat Bedi was the first person to have reportedly given his nod to appear on the show. Several sources close to the development have claimed that he has already been locked in as a contestant. Meanwhile, the two contestants that fans are most excited to see on the show are Ashish Chanchlani and Jennifer Winget. Sources close to the show have claimed that all six of them are confirmed to be participating.
A more recent report by The Sisat Daily also claims that Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, is also set to enter Bigg Boss 20. For those unaware, he is a content creator and reality television star who lifted the trophy of both MTV Roadies XX (Double Cross) and MTV Splitsvilla X6 (Splitsvilla 16). The news of his entry into the Salman Khan-hosted show was reportedly confirmed by former journalist and content creator Jeevika.
Another name that is being linked with the show, as per the outlet, is Bhojpuri actor Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. He was previously seen on the reality show The 50. He is one of the most well-known names in Bhojpuri cinema. In his personal life, Vikrant is married to actress Monalisa. Together, the duo has also participated in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye.
Another person who is allegedly locked in to enter Bigg Boss 20 is actress Khushi Dubey. The outlet reported that the makers of the Salman Khan-hosted show had initially considered her for the previous season. While it is not revealed why Khushi stepped away from BB19, this year she has reportedly agreed to be a part of the show. Khushi has made a name for herself in the industry by appearing in several popular television shows and movies, including Naagin, Bombay Talkies, and Dil Dhadakne Do.
It is, however, important to note that none of the contestants’ names mentioned have been officially confirmed by the Bigg Boss 20 makers. Allegedly, many more celebrities are still in talks with the producers of the show.
The milestone season of Bigg Boss is all set to premiere on September 6, 2026. The announcement was made by JioHotstar and ColorsTV, who posted the first teaser of the show and the new eye logo. This gave viewers a small glimpse into what they can expect from the show.
In addition to the reported “Old vs New” theme, where former and fresh faces will battle it out in the BB20 house, the season is set to introduce the “Tathas-two!” theme along with a special “Extra Jeevan Daan” twist. This twist will give the participants a second chance or an additional life in the game, effectively adding another layer of strategy and drama to the show.
