Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleBig Brother Season 28 premiered in July 2026 with 16 houseguests and a special medieval twist to mark the show's milestone 1000th episode. The season has been defined by volatile alliances and power shifts, with Drew Campbell, Yash Patel, and Rick Devens emerging as key strategic players.
Heading into the September 3, 2026 episode, the house faced a tense situation with three nominees on the block and a high-stakes BB Blockbuster competition set to determine who would survive the live vote.
LaTrice Verrett became the ninth houseguest to leave the Big Brother house and the first to enter the jury house. She will now remain sequestered and will be part of the jury that votes for the winner in the finale.
Week 8 power belonged to Drew Campbell, who won Head of Household and earned safety for the week. With his win came the responsibility of nominating three houseguests for eviction. He put up LaTrice Verrett, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel.
The Power of Veto shifted the plan. Yash won the Veto competition and removed himself from the block, forcing Drew to name a replacement. In a surprise move, Rick Devens volunteered to go up as the third nominee. The three final nominees then faced the BB Blockbuster.
Devens won the competition and secured his safety, leaving LaTrice and Taylor as the final two facing the live vote. When the votes were cast, LaTrice received the majority, ending her journey this week.
Haley Thogmartin was eliminated from Big Brother Season 28 on August 29, 2026. Following her exit from the show, Haley Thogmartin is now expressing regret for her conduct inside. She was known for being outspoken during her stay and acknowledged that some of her exchanges with other houseguests went too far.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on September 3, 2026, Thogmartin shared that she had come across some clips online and admitted she was not proud of several things she had said. She stated that she felt regretful about a few of her actions and took full responsibility for them, adding that living in the Big Brother house is a pressure situation.
While addressing what specifically she regretted, she pointed to her interaction with Taylor Brown. She acknowledged that she had dismissed Brown when she tried to initiate a serious conversation and said she would never want to make anyone feel lesser or uncomfortable because of her words. She described her own behavior in that moment as hurtful and said she wanted to apologize and own her actions completely.
Thogmartin also addressed her strained dynamic with LaTrice Verrett, whom she had previously accused of bullying her during Verrett's Head of Household reign. She clarified that she holds a lot of affection for LaLa and described her as an incredible person, noting that there were a few situations that were not fully shown on television. She added that if she had contributed to any of the tension, she was sorry for it.
While explaining that the two simply could not see eye to eye during their time together, Haley said that she had reached a point where she no longer wanted to engage in conversation because she felt exhausted by the situation. She also took back her earlier claim, stating that she no longer considers Verrett to be a bully.
