In April 2025, the couple got engaged in Turkey and it was nothing less than a fairytale. Now, a while back, Palak and Rohan’s mehendi pics surfaced online. Palak’s mehendi was an amalgamation of faith and love. The much-in-love couple looked the happiest as they enjoyed the vibrant mehendi ceremony.
A while back, various pictures from Palak Purswani and Rohan Khanna’s mehendi ceremony surfaced online. For the mehendi ceremony, Palak wore a vibrant choli and paired it with heavily embroidered dhoti pants. She completed her look with statement jewellery and a maang tikka. Rohan kept it simple, a beige embroidered kurta pair with white trousers. He was seen sporting black sunglasses and lifting the bride-to-be, Palak, while she playfully made a wink.
However, it was Palak’s mehendi that stole the spotlight. In her right hand palm, she put up the moment when Rohan went down on his knee to propose to her and in her left-hand palm, she put the time when Rohan connected with her through DMs. In fact, Palak’s right-hand upper side was inked with Shiva. In a 2025 interview with TOI, Palak said that Rohan was very religious. In fact, the mehendi beautifully portrayed their love story. Recounting their initial days of dating, Palak said:
"I was at a restaurant with my friends and went over to say hello to someone I knew at Rohan's table. That's when we spoke briefly, and I instantly felt a spark. I couldn't stop thinking about him, even though I knew nothing about his life. One day, I randomly opened the 'requests' folder in my DMs, which I usually don't check, and there was a message from him asking if I'd like to meet over coffee. I had butterflies! I realised he's spiritual, adventurous, a workaholic, and loves travelling, just like me."
During the same interview, Palak revealed that Rohan surprised her with a dreamy proposal after 4 months of dating. She mentioned that the special moment took place during a trip to Turkey. She described the proposal as grand and magical. She said:
"We began dating on September 15, 2024. I truly believe I manifested him. There are moments when everything begins to make sense. After facing heartbreak and losing faith in love, meeting Rohan felt magical. He came into my life like a blessing. In the fifth month of our relationship, he surprised me with a dreamy proposal during a trip to Turkey. It was grand and magical. We're currently scouting wedding destinations and are looking at December or January for the big day."
In April 2025, Palak took to her Instagram handle to share her engagement news. She dropped a wholesome video where Rohan went down on his knees and proposed to her with a huge diamond ring. The background was decorated with fairy lights, and there was text, "Will You Marry Me?" Palak was seen dressed in a gorgeous halter-neck white-hued maxi dress, and Rohan looked handsome in a checkered white-hued tuxedo. Along with the clip, Palak penned a long heartfelt note. An excerpt of the note can be read as:
"No dating apps, no filters—just two souls crossing paths in the most organic, unexpected, magical way. Seven months in, and it still feels like I’ve known you for lifetimes. Like you were written into my story from the very beginning. You’ve shown me the kind of love I used to write about in my journal for years… and now I get to live it."
