'Bigg Boss 19' star, Tanya Mittal, addresses the rumour surrounding her marriage. Here's what she said during a recent paps interaction.
Bigg Boss 19, the reality show hosted by Salman Khan, was once the talk of the town. Even though the show has ended, the buzz surrounding its contestants doesn’t seem to end. Recently, the spiritual influencer, Tanya Mittal, who rose to fame with the show, BB 19, grabbed the limelight for her personal life. For the unversed, the BB 19 star sparked wedding buzz after she was seen trying glamourous bridal outfits. Now, Tanya has finally broken the silence on the ongoing rumour.
Recently, Tanya Mittal was spotted by paps in the city. She was wearing an elegant, icy blue saree. She completed her look by wearing classic pearl earrings and a matching necklace. When she posed for the camera, a paparazzo asked, "Shaadi kar rahe ho aap?" She got candid and shared that after doing some films, she would think about marriage. However, Tanya didn’t reveal the truth behind the videos in which she was trying on multiple gorgeous bridal attire. She was quoted as saying:
"Aap ladka dhoond doge toh kar lungi. Pehle picture-wicture kar lu ek aadhi? Warna meri shaadi mein nahi aaoge aap log."
A few days back, Tanya Mittal shared multiple videos donning gorgeous bridal attire on her Instagram handle. Soon after the clips surfaced on social media, fans started wondering whether the popular spiritual influencer is all set to get married. In fact, the captions like "And the preparations begin" and "Yeh lehenga unko pasand aayega?" added fuel to the wedding speculations. However, after Tanya’s recent response to the marriage rumours has made things clear. After going through her Insta profile, we found that the BB 19 fame was doing promotion for a bridal shop in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk. Later, the clothing outlet shared a video of Tanya putting all speculations to rest.
According to a report by Starsunfolded, Tanya Mittal was born on September 27, 2000, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her schooling at Vidya Public School, Gwalior. She pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at Chandigarh University, Mohali. She is widely known for her stint on the show, Bigg Boss 19. When she was inside the BB 19 house, she stayed in the spotlight for multiple controversies. She was evicted from the show in the fourth position.
At the age of 19, Tanya launched her brand, Handmade For Love. She founded the brand at just Rs. 500 and made it a successful business venture today that offers handbags, sarees and handcrafted accessories. In 2018, the spiritual influencer was crowned Miss Asia Tourism Universe. It was during the Kumbh mela stampede that the BB 19 star grabbed a lot of attention with her viral videos of saving people.
However, Tanya has a dark, traumatic past about which she opened up on the show, Bigg Boss 19. For the uninitiated, Tanya revealed on the show, BB 19, that her father used to beat her, while her mother used to save her. She also compared her mom to a divine entity. Tanya highlighted that at the age of 19, she was almost married off. She was quoted as saying:
"My mother is everything. Mera mumma meri bhagwaan hai. Main bahut mushkil se yahan tak pahunchi hu. My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. Bahut mushkil se business shuru kiya hai maine, permission mila saree pehen ne ki, bahar nikalne ki. I was 19 when I was almost going to get married off to, I wanted to di*."
