Aylin welcomed Mauro with her first husband, Cuban musician Osamu Menéndez, when she was allegedly 19. Osamu confirmed the passing of Mauro, while sharing a devastating note. However, Aylin is yet to respond to her son's sudden death in his 30s. It was reported that Mauro, who was also known as DJ Maahez, passed away during one of his trips to Barbados.
The official cause of Mauro's death is yet to be revealed, but as per the reports, he suffered a heart attack during a trip to Barbados, and he was also suffering from pneumonia. Amid this heartbreaking news, another piece of new information surfaced. Journalist Mandy Fridmann, the host of Las Top News, said that Aylin was busy shooting in Colombia when she received the news about her son's passing. Undoubtedly, this is heartbreaking news for Aylin, and she is 'devastated', as shared by the journalist. As per the same journalist, Mauro traveled to Barbados in the Caribbean to attend a baseball game.
The journalist further revealed that sources close to her shared that Mauro was suffering from pneumonia, and his mother wanted him not to go to Barbados. However, he went anyway, and what happened next is devastating. According to the journalist, everthing hinted at the fact that Mauro seemingly passed away from a heart attack.
However, the family members of the DJ and representatives are yet to confirm the same. Mauro's father, Osamu, took to his social media handle and confirmed his son's passing. Osamu, on his Instagram, penned that he's in a devastated state and on his way to receive his son's mortal remains. He extended his thanks for the support he got. His note could be read as:
"Forgive me, I can't speak. My son Mauro died last night, and I'm devastated. I'm on a plane to pick up his body. I love you all and thank you for your messages of condolence."
DJ Maahez was allegedly born in 1993 to Aylin and Osamu. The young star was known in the electronic music world, and he was quite famous on social media, with his IG followers nearing 50K. He also had a strong presence on TikTok.
Mauro began his career in 2014, when he released his first remix, Jumping Record. It was in the same year that Mauro marked his first-ever stage appearance during an event in Miami. Amid the news of his passing, Mauro's last post resurfaced, which was from earlier this month and spoke volumes about his love for music.
In the photo, Mauro was seen inside a studio, and he was surrounded by musical instruments. According to reports, Mauri Menedez was extremely close to his mother, Aylin. She has yet to make any public comment about her son's sudden passing. Aylin had been married thrice in his personal life, and she is now the mother of two kids, a son and a daughter, from his second and third husbands.
