After a long time of keeping mum, Himanshi bared her heart out and, without naming anyone, she claimed that the person she was involved with stopped her from practising her religion.
Almost a week after the podcast with Paras Chabbra went viral, Asim shared his side of the story. Now, Asim, took a dig at her again. In his latest post on X, Asim, without naming anyone, called her a 'fame digger'. He went on to state that it was a career move rather than love from Himanshi's side. He wrote:
"A fame digger doesn't love you; they love your name, your image and what standing beside you makes them look like. They call it love, but it was always a career move. A name takes years of pain to build; you don't get to borrow it and pretend you built it."
However, many users bashed Asim and asked him how Himanshi was the fame digger; she had been working in Punjab before entering Bigg Boss 13, while no one had known him. A user wrote, "Fame digger, how? We had already seen her working in the Punjab industry before Bigg Boss. Nobody even knew you back then." Another commented, "But, Wasn’t Himanshi more successful than you in the Punjab industry? I mean I had seen her music videos before she came in BiggBoss. Who knew you? Fame digger, how?"
Another user penned, "After BB, what have u done, bro? You thought you were superior to #RohitShetty. Kicked out to #AbhishekMalhan and #RubinaDilaik kicked out

Earlier, in an interaction with Paras Chhabra for his podcast, Himanshi Khurana talked about a challenging phase of her life and her past relationship with Asim Riaz. Without naming him directly, Paras asked Himanshi if the rumours of a religious conversation were true. To this, she stated that if she made any comment, it would get controversial, but he talked about the good things about his religion, which everyone does.
For those who don't know, Himanshi and Asim met while they were together as part of the reality show Bigg Boss 13 in 2018. They were the most talked-about couple after the controversial show ended. However, they ended their relationship in December 2023. Back then, Himanshi stated religion as the reason behind their breakup.
Himanshi revealed that Asim never misbehaved with her. However, they would often discuss their relationship, and he wanted her to understand and accept his belief system. But Himanshi's heart kept telling her that she was betraying her own God. She revealed that one night, Asim told her that she wouldn't be allowed to do something. Himanshi made sure not to share the details, but revealed how she reacted to it.
Himanshi stated that this thought was big, as she felt she was saying goodbye to her God. She accepted that she would read her partner's prayers, but no one would know whom she was praying to, and it might look like a betrayal.
