It is noteworthy to mention that the legendary duo are coming together after nearly 47 years for the film. The film's promo has created a huge buzz online. Amid the high anticipation surrounding the film, the women present in it sparked major debates online.
Ever since, the makers dropped the promo of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film, KHxRK, fans of the legendary duo couldn’t stop talking about it. While the two actors grabbed a lot of attention with their reunion, it was the women in the garage scene that stole the spotlight. The promo of KHxRK features director, Nelson Dilipkumar, music composer, Anirudh Ravichander and the legendary actors, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
The duo shared a light-hearted moment in the clip. The 71-year-old actor, Kamal Haasan, drives while the 75-year-old star, Rajinikanth, sits beside him, turning the heads of the young girls present in the garage area. However, the young women positioned in the garage who witnessed the entry of the legendary duo appeared too artificial to a section of social media users. Multiple users claimed that the female leads in the promo were AI-generated. But a few users also shared their disbelief in the viral claim. One user wrote, "Wait, what? I’m pretty sure Kollywood subreddit would’ve found those ladies’ accounts by now."
The rumours about the women in the promo of KHxRK being created using AI were dismissed when a behind-the-scenes snap showing the women on set during filming was shared on social media. A user wrote, "No, they are not." Another user commented, "You can find those girls in BTS still."
Soon after the promo of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s film, KHxRK, surfaced online, netizens flooded the comment section. A user wrote, "Pure goosebumps. Vintage is back." Another user commented, "I am a big, big fan of Rajnikanth, but in this promo video, Kamal Haasan stole it. The voice, the swag, the style, look, posture, everything. Hero - Kamal Haasan."
A third user penned, "I am from North India, and I am so happy to see Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in the same frame.
