In a recent conversation, Anupam Kher praised his wife, Kirron Kher, for supporting his decision to help his brother, Raju Kher. Read on to know what he said.
Anupam Kher is a veteran actor of the Bollywood film industry. Over the years, he has won hearts with his versatile acting. He was last seen in the Hindi film, Tanvi The Great. Coming to his personal life, Anupam is married to Kirron Kher. The couple has been married for four decades. For the unversed, Anupam tied the knot with actress, Kirron on August 26, 1985. In a recent conversation, the veteran actor praised his wife for being supportive of his decision to help his brother, Raju Kher.
In a recent conversation on Zindagi with Richa, Anupam shared that if every brother remembers the days when they grew together, there won’t be any fights. He also complimented his wife, Kirron Kher, for never questioning him about his decision to help his brother, Raju Kher. The veteran actor later mentioned that he helps his brother financially and once told his manager never to ask him about the amount he gives to Raju. In his words:
"If every brother remembers what they were like when they were young, there would be no fight. How can I forget that we grew up together? I must also compliment Kirron, because she never, ever asked me, 'Why do you do so much for your brother?' That’s how problems begin. I would sign cheques for Raju, the household, and other things… I told my manager long ago, 'Remember one thing in life, never ask me how much money I’m giving to my brother'."
In the same interview, Anupam shared that his brother Raju Kher, who is an actor and director himself, has never been jealous of his success. He also praised his brother and called him 'amazing'. Anupam also lauded his brother and his sister-in-law for taking good care of his parents and mentioned that his parents lived more with his brother and his wife. He was quoted as saying:
"We both grew up together; we have the same parents. My brother has never been jealous of me because I am more successful than he is. He’s amazing that way. My parents lived more with my brother and his wife than they did with me."
In the same interview with Anupam revealed that he gets upset over property disputes and mentioned that he dislikes two brothers killing each other for the sake of one property. He later expressed that this was one of the reasons behind living in a rented home. Earlier in an interview with The Good Humans, the veteran elaborated on the following matter. He was quoted as saying:
"Once a person is gone, or has passed away, there is a chance that some disputes might arise regarding the property he has left behind. There is less conflict involved with distributing money. I have seen and talked to aged people, and their stories are harrowing. Someone has been thrown out by their son, and another is being coerced into signing over their property. These kinds of things and conversations don’t happen in my house."
