Anshuman Of 'Jab We Met' Reveals How Shahid And Kareena Behaved On The Sets Post Break Up

Exactly a decade ago in 2007, Jab We Met hit the theatres and was praised by everybody. The timeless love story by Imtiaz Ali, got embedded in the hearts and minds of so many youngsters. But, there was one more love story, going parallel, with the movie.

You might have guessed by now as to which love story are we referring to. Yes, we’re talking about ex-lovebirds of Bollywood- Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. 

Do you remember Anshuman from the movie? We’ve news for you. We all know that Shahid and Kareena, at one point, were in an intense relationship on record.

But, they ended their four-year-long relationship during the shooting of Jab We Met itself. Tarun Raj Arora (the guy who played Anshuman), has spilt some beans on Shahid-Kareena’s relationship and break up. Here’s what he was quoted as saying to the Hindustan Times:

“The tough time in their relationship did not affect the shooting, but I could see that things were a bit weird. When you have a couple on set, you expect them to be a little lovey-dovey and happy. There was an air of discomfort. However, I thought that they are serious actors and didn't let their personal equation affect their work. They did not even joke with each other.”

Clearly, when there is a couple in any space, there is a discomfort post their break up. But, it seems that eventually with time, the discomfort between the two have evaporated. In fact, there was news that Shahid had told about his marriage to Kareena before he told the media.

Here’s what Kareena said according to a report in MissMalini:

“Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So, he actually told me about him getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally… I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well.”

Well, that’s so sweet of the two. Tarun’s confessions are really genuine but when two actors are on a set, they don’t let their personal equations come in way of their professional space. Do let us know in the comments section below.
