Anas Rashid Set To Marry This Chandigarh Girl Today, Shares 'Haldi' Ceremony Pics

News of celeb marriages always makes fans drool and go gaga over it. There is one such TV celeb who is all in the news for his upcoming marriage.

Still guessing? We’re talking about Diya Aur Bati Hum actor, Anas Rashid. Just recently, he had announced the news of his engagement to Heena Iqbal, a 24-year-old girl who actually hails from Malerkotla in Punjab, but currently, resides in Chandigarh. She is 14 years younger to her to-be-hubby, Anas.

The couple got engaged on April 9, 2017. Here’s that beautiful ring that Anas had earlier shared on Instagram:

And now, there’s another happy news. The couple is all set to tie their nuptial knot today (September 9, 2017).

As per a report in The Times of India, the wedding will be a traditional Muslim style affair in Anas' hometown Malerkotla, Punjab. The so-called nikaah will take place today and the Dawaat-e-walima i.e. reception will be organised tomorrow (September 10).

Speaking about the wedding preparation, Anas said to the Indian Express: 

“Everyone is really excited at home and we are all geared up with the preparation. Since the entire family is here, we planned to tie the knot in Malerkotla, and when we move to Mumbai, will organize a party there.”

Will his celeb friends from the TV fraternity be present at the wedding? He Earlier, he was quoted as saying::

“Of course they will have to chalk out their schedules, but I am sure they will be here with me. There’s not much time left, and we are really busy with the preparation. Heena is happily shopping and finalizing our trousseau. It feels great to see my family being so happy. There’s a sense of positivity and love all around. The wedding ceremony will be in a traditional Muslim way.”
