Amitabh Bachchan Shares His Birthday Post With Wrong Age, His Daughter, Shweta Nanda Corrects Him

On his birthday, Amitabh Bachchan shared a collage of his pictures on his social media handle with the wrong age in the caption. His daughter, Shweta Nanda corrected him.

Born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Bachchan has won numerous accolades for his outstanding performance in his movies. The ‘angry young man’ of the Bollywood industry has got the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015, to his credit.

Amitabh Bachchan had started his career in 1969 with the film, Saat Hindustani. However, the actor couldn’t win the hearts of the audience during his initial years. Later, it was the crime-thriller film, Zanjeer that had allowed Amitabh to rise to fame. The megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, turned a year older today and his fans have flooded his social media with love and heartmelting wishes.

The veteran actor, who is an avid social media user, shared a picture of himself on his IG handle as he turned a year older on October 11, 2021. Along with the picture, Big B wrote, "Into the 80th". However, his daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, reminded him that it’s his 79th birthday, not 80th.

On October 10, 2021, Amitabh took to his Instagram handle and posted a collage of his pictures with a caption that can be read as “walking into the 80th.” In the pictures, we can see the veteran actor walking in style in a grey jacket, dark trousers paired with a side bag. However, his daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, swiftly slid into the comment section of her father’s post and corrected him by reminding him that it is his 79th birthday.

Shweta Nanda’s comment can be read as “79th,” followed by a heart emoji. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, also commented with a raised hands emoji. On the other hand, the Gully boy actor, Ranveer Singh commented, “Gangster,” while the actress, Bhumi Pednekar, wrote, “swag..Happy birthday sir.” Many other Bollywood actors also commented and poured love on Big B’s post.

On October 10, 2021, Amitabh Bachchan had expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards his well-wishers and had thanked them for their immense love and adorable wishes in his blog post. The veteran actor had written, “I am incapable of giving expression to the throbbing heart that I bear .. throbbing with the excitement of your love...It shall be impossible to acknowledge all of you in the personal equation .. but I know you do understand that I understand your greeting and that is eventually what matters .. I walk with the pride of your following .. and your love ..”
