In a recent interview, Ameesha Patel revealed that she said not to some Hindi blockbusters alongside Bollywood biggies, SRK, Salman and more. The actress expressed her desire to reunite with Hrithik.
Ameesha Patel is a supremely talented actress in Bollywood. With her impeccable acting chops, Ameesha rules millions of hearts. The actress is currently bagging immense success for her film, Gadar 2. For the unversed, the film is a sequel to a massive Hindi movie, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, wherein Ameesha played the lead role too. Gadar 2 also marked a comeback for Ameesha. For those who don't know, the actress made her debut in Bollywood with the romantic thriller, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, alongside Hrithik Roshan and bagged immense success. And now, in a recent interview, Ameesha expressed her desire to work with Hrithik again. She also revealed why she turned down some massive hits that were offered to her in the early days of her career.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Ameesha Patel was asked if she regretted saying no to any film. To this, the talented actress mentioned some blockbuster Hindi movies such as Chalte Chalte, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, Munna Bhai MBBS starring Sanjay Dutt; and Salman Khan's Tere Naam.

Ameesha also stated that all these movies came along her way, but she had to turn these down because of date issues, and she was already committed to other work projects, and that's why she couldn't regret it. Ameesha shared:
"There were lots of films I couldn’t do. I turned them down because of date issues so I couldn’t regret it...I had already committed."
In the same interview, Ameesha was asked if she would like to do a film alongside Hrithik Roshan. To give an answer to the same, the actress shared that she would love to reunite with him. Talking along the same line, Ameesha shared that while she and Hrithik's first film was a romantic thriller, the next film can be a cute love story with a touch of comedy with a lot of dance. The talented artist also stated that just like Sunny Deol, she has good chemistry with Hrithik too. And as they both debuted together, people would surely love them back together on the screens, just like Gadar 2. Ameesha mentioned:
"A cute, fun love story with a little bit of comedy, great music and lots of dance because we’re both good dancers. Like I have a great chemistry with Sunny, I have a great chemistry with Hrithik too and I’d love to work with him, so why not? I think we both debuted together and people would love that like they’ve loved Gadar too. I think they would love Hrithik and me back too."

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ameesha Patel recalled being labelled as too educated to be able to work in films. Talking along the same line, the actress shared that she was often being asked whether her being educated made her an unusual fit for performing arts. Talking along the same line, Ameesha shared:
"Why can't an educated person be involved in the performing arts? Because it was art for me.”
