Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya became friends when they were together in the house of Bigg Boss 14. Their jodi was like of Jai-Veeru as the two were always by each other’s side. Aly had always supported Rahul and had always teased him with Disha’s name inside the BB 14 house. He was dancing like crazy when Rahul had proposed to Disha for marriage on national television and his happiness had known no bounds when Rahul and Disha were tying the knot.

After Rahul and Disha’s wedding announcement, his BFF, Aly Goni had started preparing for their reception night. He had joined the mundon ki toli to make Rahul's reception, a grand one. Finally, the wait for Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni's appearance at Rahul and Disha's reception is over. The madly-in-love couple can not get enough of each other as they walked the venue holding hands. Aly Goni was on cloud nine as his best friend was getting married to the girl of his dreams. It was Aly, who had shared the first video from Rahul’s baraat as the dulhe-raja was dancing his heart out with his groomsmen on the dhol. All the groomsmen were twinning in floral sherwani and pink safa, and Rahul’s happiness was evident on his face. Aly performed the perfect groomsmen role as he ensured that his BFF’s shoes are not stolen by his saalis. While Rahul and Disha were on the stage exchanging the rings amidst the flower shower, Aly was seen holding his best friend’s shoes and was heard saying, “joote chori nahi hone denge.” Rahul and Disha could be seen enjoying each other’s company on the stage. Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin and Rahul Vaidya's friendship had started inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. While Jasmin had understood Rahul’s friendship a little late, these three had bonded well. Disha had already become a part of their group, owing to her relationship with Rahul. On March 16, 2021, the two couples, Aly-Jasmin and Rahul-Disha had gone for a double date and their pictures had gone viral over the internet, showcasing the strong bond these four shares.
When Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had announced their wedding, Aly had shared a picture on his IG handle and had talked about Rahul’s dream of marrying Disha. He had written, “Tu aaj kitna khush hai yeh mere se zyada koi nahi jaanta kitni baatien ki humne raat raat bhar..aasmaan ko dekhte hue baat karte the aur tu kehta tha ki kab shaadi hogi kab disha meri biwi banegi haha and finally woh din aa raha hai.
