Speaking about birthdays and newly-found love, it is superstar Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday today (September 28, 2018). While there are multitude of stars who have taken to Instagram to post heartfelt wishes about Ranbir, netizens have been waiting for one particular post from one 'special person’ in Ranbir’s life and that has finally happened!

On account of Ranbir’s birthday, girlfriend Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and posted a beautiful solo picture of Ranbir, where his eyes are all closed, while letting out a heartfelt laughter. What looks like a picture of a holiday, Alia posted three words which sufficed what he means to her. Sharing the picture, she captioned it as, “Happy Birthday Sunshine”. In a recent interview with Filmfare, Ranbir shared probable hints of him dating Alia. The Saawariya actor shared, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. Did you know? When Alia was 15, she was screen tested for a movie, Balika Vadhu, with Ranbir Kapoor. Alia had, from the very beginning of her career, been completely vocal about her crush for Ranbir. The Student Of The Year actress was asked by Filmfare about what she likes and dislikes about Ranbir Kapoor. To this, Alia replied, “I’ve gotten to know him in the last couple of months since we began work on Brahmastra. I’ve interacted a lot with him personally. But what I genuinely love about him is that he’s all heart. He’s a very very pure and simple person. There’s no fuss and that same simplicity translates in him as an actor as well. That’s why you can always see through him and see into his eyes. That’s why he’s got that effect on you. He’s simple. He’s not trying to emote or express. Ya, that’s what I like most about Mr Ranbir Kapoor. What I do not like about him? I don’t dislike anything about him as of now.”

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Ranbir shared his feelings for her muse and Brahmastra co-star. He remarked, “Honestly, I am not playing hide-and-seek. I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excitement to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way.
