The wedding news of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been abuzz for quite some time. Every time we thought it was happening, it turned out to be a rumour. However, it seems the couple is finally getting hitched as the speculations about their wedding news are roaming around the B-town alleys. The duo had found love in each other's arms while working together for their film, Brahmastra.
On March 27, 2022, when the famous bridal designer, Beena Kannan had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with the couple, it had stirred their wedding news even more. In the photo, Alia had worn a cream-coloured ensemble while Ranbir had donned a blue-hued shirt. The couple was seen posing with the designer.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have never shied away to agree on having a relationship with each other. However, the couple is quite private and does not give away their personal details. Thus they have never accepted nor denied the fact that they are getting married soon. Now, a media report in Pinkvilla stated that the duo will tie the knot in April, and the date is quite close. However, they have decided to get married at RK house in Chembur and not in some five-star hotel or some destination wedding place.
The report further suggested that it was solely Ranbir Kapoor's decision to get married at his house. As everyone knows, Ranbir was quite close to his grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor. His parents, late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had also got married at the house on January 20, 1980. So he just wants to keep the tradition alive. As per the report, they will have a guest list of 450 members, including their family members and close friends. Their wedding will be handled by the Shaadi Squad planners. The guests have been asked to keep the 2nd week of April free. Well, that's making us wonder if the date has been fixed around that time.

Recently, in a conversation with India Today, Alia Bhatt had revealed a fun fact about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. She had stated herself as the 'dog' and Ranbir as the 'cat' in their relationship. She had said:
“In our relationship, he’s the cat, I am the dog. Now you go figure. Sometimes I wake up in the morning with so much energy and Ranbir is like ‘Easy, easy, calm down, breathe.’ If there’s been an exciting day, he’s the one I’ll start re-enacting it to.”
In an interview with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor had opened up about the speculations regarding his wedding rumours with his Brahmastra co-star, Alia Bhatt. He had admitted that soon the much-in-love duo would tie the knot. However, he didn't mention the date, and when he was asked about this, he had given a hilarious reply. He had said:
"Mujhe paagal kutte ne nahi kaata hai ki main media ko announce kardu date. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon."
