Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor Spotted Shopping Together In The New York City, Look Happy Together

When you are in love, all you want to do is spend time with your ‘man’. Despite hectic work schedule, you make an effort and take some time off just to be with that person. Similar is the case with B-town's 'IT' couple at the moment, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. And where there’s Ranbir, there’s Alia. The Raazi actress, who has been busy with her work commitments for projects including Kalank and Brahmastra, took some time off to spend some time with the Kapoors and be by their side. The Kapoors have seen quite a few visitors including Sonali Bendre, Priyanka Chopra and Anupam Kher, ever since they arrived in the US. And adding to that list is soon-to-be Kapoor bahu, Alia.

Alia posted a photograph of herself from the streets of NYC, and captioned it, “The Big Apple”. And now, more pictures of the couple are going viral on social media where Alia and Ranbir can be strolling on the New York streets with his mom, Neetu Kapoor. Even Neetu ji shared a photo of Ranbir on her Instagram, and captioned it, “The strength.” Ranbir can be seen wearing a blue T-shirt and cap and carrying a backpack in the picture. Ranbir and Alia were also spotted shopping together at the Patron of the New store in New York.

Alia visiting Rishi ji, Neetu ji and Ranbir in the US is a proof of how much she cares about the Kapoors. At the last rites of Ranbir’s dadi, Krishna Raj Kapoor, Alia tried the best to make it virtually possible for Ranbir to attend the funeral. But Alia was spotted irritated with the poor internet connection. Here’s the video:

Rishi ji, Neetu ji and Ranbir were unable to attend Krishna ji’s funeral as they left for the US a few days before her demise. While it is still unclear as to for what treatment the 102 Not Out star has gone to the US, but speculations are rife that he has been diagnosed with stage III cancer. The Kal Aaj Aur Kal actor had shared, "We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he's suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage."

Randhir ji further added, “Let him undergo tests peacefully; whatever the results, we will let everyone know. He only reached America two-three days ago and so far, he was being prepared for the tests that he has to undergo. Depending on what the results are, his line of treatment, medication and other modalities will be decided upon. It’s not fair to speculate things just like that.”

Before visiting the Kapoors in the US, Alia made an appearance on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan season 6 with Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend, Deepika Padukone. In the one-minute sneak-peek promo of the show, Karan said “You have been in a relationship with Ranbir, Alia is in one right now…” to which he gets interrupted by Deepika who wittily exclaimed, “Don’t try and make it awkward, because it was not.” Then when Karan asks them, “Who will get married first?”, the girls pointed fingers at each other. If rumours are to be believed, Alia and Ranbir might tie the nuptial knot in 2020. As per the reports, “Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won't happen before 2020.” In a throwback interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi Kapoor opened up about Ranbir’s marriage and said that he and Neetu Kapoor, both like Alia.

The Bobby star was quoted as saying, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative. Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji and Shashiji and I chose our life partners. On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be next seen together for the first time on silver screen in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. This film is produced by Karan Johar and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
