What! Akhil Akkineni And Shriya Bhupal's Big Fat Italy Wedding Called Off

Well, this is the saddest news of 2017. A big fat wedding of the popular couple, from two of the most influential families of India has been called off!

Yes, you heard us right! This famous celebrity couple has called off their wedding after 3 months of their engagement. We are talking about Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni who got engaged to Shriya Bhupal in December last year.

Shriya and Akhil dated each other for quite a long time before exchanging the rings in an intimate ceremony. Now, according to the reports, Akkineni family and Reddy family (Shriya is GVK Reddy’s granddaughter) have called off the wedding that was supposed to happen in May, 2017 in Italy.

According to the grapevine, the high profile wedding is not happening now and reasons are unknown to everyone. Both the families have informed their guests to not book any tickets as the wedding is not happening.

Rumour mills are abuzz that the news is confirmed as the messages to cancel all the reservations and tickets have apparently been sent last Saturday only.  

The couple was all set to tie the knot at a picturesque set up in Rome, Italy, in May this year. However, due to reasons not known, both the families called off the wedding and reportedly it was a last minute decision.

Both the families have also cancelled the reservations made for travel, resorts and other venues. The decision has shocked everyone as everything was fine between both the families until last week. Reddy family was even invited at Akhil’s elder brother, Naga Chaitanya’s engagement.

It is really shocking that the grand destination wedding is no more taking place. We are not sure if the wedding has been called off or put on hold, but the news is really upsetting.
