Fans are super excited for Adiya and Anushka as they take on parenthood for the first time.
Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal tied the knot in November 2021. It was a glamorous affair featuring a number of Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Vaani Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar and Rhea Chakraborty. Anushka had worn a striking lilac bridal lehenga on her big day, while Aditya had worn a cream-toned sherwani. Both of their outfits were designed by Manish Malhotra.
Now, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their married life, the couple revealed that they have been blessed with two baby girls on August 23, 2026. They shared the joyous news with their followers on Instagram, just days after Anushka and Aditya celebrated their Godh Bharai ceremony.
In the heartwarming post, the duo revealed the names of their twin baby girls as Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal. The post also revealed that their daughters were born on the same day.
Aditya and Anushka shared an adorable announcement card that featured the illustrations of two baby girls sitting in what appeared to be a garden with colourful butterflies floating around them. The card read:
“We are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as we welcome our baby girls, Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal. Born on 23.08.2026.”
Meanwhile, in the caption of the post, Aditya called his girls “my sunshine” and said that they are here to brighten his and Anushka’s lives. He also added how much their births have filled the pair's hearts with love and gratitude.
The comment section of the post has been filled with congratulatory messages not only by fans but also by Aditya and Anushka’s industry friends. Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi wrote, “Aww, congratulations @anushkaranjan. Welcome to this beautiful phase! So much love and happiness ahead.”
Jaiswal Pragya wrote, “Congratulations, my darlings.” Actress Rakul Preet Singh penned, “Congratulations. Wow. So happy for you.”

The pregnancy announcement had marked a special moment in their lives after being together for several years. Later, when they celebrated with a traditional Godh Bharai ceremony, Anushka and Aditya were surrounded by their families and loved ones.
For the ceremony, Anushka had turned heads in a reddish-orange traditional outfit. On the other hand, her husband, Aditya, looked dapper in a yellow kurta and white pyjamas. Anushka’s sister, Akansha Ranjan, was also a part of the intimate celebration that saw several emotional and candid moments.
It is worth noting that Anushka and Aditya had first crossed paths on June 26, 2017, at an event organised by the former’s NGO, Beti. Aditya had once opened up about the romantic way in which he proposed to his wife. At that time, the actor had created a video of all of their loved ones sharing messages for Anushka. At the very end, Aditya appeared in the video and asked Anushka to turn around. When she did, she was surprised to see Aditya standing there in reality while holding a ring.
