Aditya Roy Kapur is one of the most eligible bachelors in Tinseltown. He recently had a breakup with his alleged ex-girlfriend, Ananya Panday, and the news came as a shock to their massive fanbase. While people thought that Aditya and Ananya were soulmates, the murmurs of their separation broke the internet after the latter hinted at her breakup with a cryptic Instagram post.
Amid the ongoing buzz about his breakup with Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur was seen partying with Sara Ali Khan in a new set of viral photos. In the pictures, Aditya and Sara were seen having a blast as they enjoyed some fun time together. If reports are to be believed, the duo was celebrating director, Anurag Basu’s birthday on the sets of their upcoming film, Metro In Dino. Sara and Aditya were seen standing close to each other in the blurry photos, igniting their dating rumours.

Earlier, a report in the Bombay Times stated that Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday parted ways in March 2024. A source close to the ex-couple revealed that they have called off their relationship and are trying to move on while remaining cordial with one another. The source added:
“They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely."
Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the third episode of the controversial show, Koffee With Karan 8. While chatting with the host, Karan Johar, Sara talked about her friendship with Ananya and said that she wouldn't force the latter not to date a guy she liked. However, Ananya was quick to tell Karan that Sara was lying straight away as the latter had once threatened her over a guy she was interested in. Explaining further, Ananya said that Sara told her that she would beat her up if she even looked at that guy. Ananya was heard saying:
“Sara has threatened me saying I’ll beat you up if you look at this person, on various occasions. You have threatened me.”

Ananya and Aditya were keeping their romance a secret initially, but rumours about their alleged relationship were rife in the media. During the rapid-fire round on KWK, Karan Johar asked Sara to mention one thing that she doesn't have, but Ananya has. Responding to this, Sara subtly confirmed the then-ongoing relationship rumours between Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur. Sara was heard revealing that she doesn't have 'A Night Manager'. While Ananya was seen blushing initially, she later also added that she has been feeling very 'Ananya Coy Kapur'.
