As more details emerge from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, Kansas City Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid has revealed one of the best pieces of advice Adam gave to the couple. As per Reid, Adam brought "a lot of humor" to the event with his gig. During an event in Salt Lake City, Reid stated Adam’s advice to the couple while officiating the ceremony as he said:
“He told them, 'Keep kissing.' So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing. It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss. And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems."
The main reason behind Adam officiating the wedding was due to his friendship with Travis after he appeared in a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2. Gradually, the professional relationship turned into a personal friendship. Adam Sandler also shares a long-lasting admiration for Taylor Swift. The actor had often admitted that he is a fan of her music. The handsome actor also stated that his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, are devoted Swifties.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took their wedding vows at New York's Madison Square Garden in a private celebration. According to some reports, around 1,000 guests attended the ceremony following a smaller rehearsal dinner the previous evening. The couple skipped traditional wedding vows and instead wrote their own.
Speaking on Good Morning America, co-host, George Stephanopoulos, who attended the ceremony, revealed that both Taylor and Travis stood at the altar holding "little books" as they read their handwritten vows, each taking 20 minutes. He described the emotional exchange as "everything you would hope for. Real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving.” Additional details later shared by AMC CEO, Adam Aron, who called the couple’s vows as ‘personal’ as they reflected on how they met, why they wanted to spend forever together, and the promises they were making to unite both the Swift and Kelce families.
Talking about Taylor’s wedding ensemble, the singer wore a white gown reportedly designed by Jonathan Anderson, Dior's Creative Director of the Women's, Men's, and Haute Couture collections, marking his first-ever couture wedding dress for a globally renowned celebrity. She completed her look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes, while her jewellery was custom-made from the house of Cartier. Her wedding jewellery perfectly complemented her Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry engagement ring.
The wedding had a star-studded guest list that included celebrities from entertainment, music, and professional sports. It included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Dakota Johnson, Bradley Cooper, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and Mike Vrabel. Taylor's younger brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honour, while Travis' older brother, Jason Kelce, served as Best Man.
