Priya Bathija Ditched Traditional Red For This Color-Combo; Her Bridal Outfit Took Our Breath Away

2017 seems to be one of the happiest years for our B-town and telly town celebrities. Many of them are entering the doubles club, and the latest addition to it is none other than Suryaputra Karn fame actress, Priya Bathija.

Yes, the beautiful actress is now officially taken! Priya had a hush-hush roka ceremony with a music arranger and DJ, Kawaljeet Saluja commonly known as DJ Kawal, on February 13, 2017, with just a few close family members in the presence.

While confirming the news of her roka then, she was quoted as saying:

“It's true that I am getting married. It was love at first sight for Kawal, who told our common friend that he wants to marry me. He spoke to his family about me and requested my friend to get me to speak with my family, too. Soon, our families met and the roka was held on February 13. At first, I was sceptical about an arranged marriage as I didn't know him too well. But after meeting him a few times, I realised that he is family-oriented. Like me, he is also old-school. In fact, he met my entire family before the roka, including the extended one."

The lovebirds walked down the aisle on May 22, 2017, and their wedding was a dreamy affair. They had a proper Gurudwara wedding that took place in Raipur. The couple looked stunning in their wedding attires.

Priya looked ravishing in a golden, pink and yellow-coloured lehenga teamed up with minimal makeup and subtle jewellery. And not to be missed, her chooda that was adding to her bridal charm all the more. On the other hand, Kawal looked like an apt Punjabi groom in that cream-coloured sherwani teamed up with a pink-coloured pagdi.

Priya will be staying in Kawal’s hometown Raipur. Here’s what the actress stated in an interview lately:

“I plan to stay there till I get something interesting in terms of acting, which should be worth my time away from home."

To let you all know, Priya was earlier married to famous actor Jatin Shah, but soon things went wrong, and they legally parted ways in 2011.
