Naga Chaitanya Says It's 'Painful' To Read Headlines, Amid His And Samantha Prabhu's Divorce Reports

South Indian actor, Naga Chaitanya talked about ongoing rumours of a possible rift in his marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in his latest interview ahead of the release of 'Love Story'.

The whole entertainment industry is buzzing with South industry's most admired and loved couple, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's divorce reports. Speculations in the media through multiple unnamed sources have suggested that Samantha and Naga are experiencing a possible rift in their married life, and only time will tell whether the issues between them are severe or not.

For the unversed, the speculations about a possible rift in Samantha and Naga's 3.5 years marriage had kick-started after she had dropped her surname 'Akkineni' on her IG and Twitter handle. The actress had changed her name to simply 'S' and had made everyone wonder if things were going downhill between her and her husband.

In an interview with Film Companion, Naga Chaitanya talked about his personal life, which is reportedly in shambles as reports are rife that he and his wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, are coping with some irreconcilable issues in their married life and are probably heading towards divorce. However, in his statement, Naga showed no sense of vulnerability in his comments and stated that he never mixes his personal and professional lives. He said, "I think from a very early time in my career, I sort of kept my personal life personal and my professional life professional. I never mixed the both."

Going further in the interview, Naga Chaitanya credited his superstar-father, Nagarjuna and mother, Lakshmi Daggubati, for not bringing professional tension back to home. The doting son admitted that he had observed his parents, and the way they had maintained a beautiful balance in their lives was always quite inspiring for him. He continued, "I've always had this habit that I learned from my parents as I was growing up, I always noticed once they came home, they never spoke about work. And when they went to work, their personal life was never diluting into work. It was a very nice balance that they maintained, which I always observed."

At the end of the interview, Naga Chaitanya opened up about his decision to stay away from social media and probably gave hints towards the ongoing reports of his and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's possible divorce. The actor stated that media reports no longer have the capacity to affect him. He explained, "Initially, yes, it was a little painful. I was like ‘why is entertainment heading this way? Today you're getting the next piece of news the next second or the next minute. It doesn't stay in people's minds for too long. The actual news, the news that matters, will stay. But the superficial news, the news that is used to create TRPs, is forgotten. Once I made this observation, it stopped affecting me."
