Recently, Salman Khan's brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma revealed if he and Arpita Khan Sharma were getting divorced. The actor recalled his wife's reaction to the same.
Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, met his now-wife, Arpita Khan Sharma, in 2011. The two dated for a while before finally tying the knot in 2014. Later, they welcomed their two children, a son, Ahil, in 2016 and a daughter, Ayat, in 2019. However, Aayush and Arpita’s marriage has always been under tremendous scrutiny, with people also once speculating that the actor was filing for divorce.
During an interview with News19 Showsha, Aayush shared that no one was ever interested in his life so much so that they would start rumours about him. However, back in 2019, reports went viral stating that the actor was soon to separate from his wife, Arpita. Aayush added that he went out to have dosa with his son when paparazzi asked him if he was divorcing his wife. Recalling this bizarre incident, the actor said:
“Nobody has been that interested in my life to float rumours about me around. But I remember a very small incident. I took my son out for dosa, and when we were coming out, the paparazzi caught me and asked me if Arpita and I were filing for divorce.”

Further, he revealed that after returning home, he even asked Arpita if she was filing for divorce and the couple burst out laughing. Aayush shared that while he was initially taken aback by this piece of news, later, he and Arpita would laugh at this rumour. In his words:
“I was just so surprised! I took my son out for a snack and ended up facing questions about our divorce. When I came back home, I asked Arpita if she was going to divorce me. And we had a good laugh over it.”
Aayush, who was most recently seen in the action film, Ruslaan, mentioned that his wife, Arpita has been his strongest pillar of support and the best critic of his works. The actor added that his wife asks him to remove certain parts of his movies if she finds them to be breaking the continuity or simply does not like them. Arpita also questions the relevance of certain scenes and advises her husband on his outfit choices in the film. Further heaping praise on his wife, Aayush said that she watches the films objectively, thinking about the audience who would buy tickets to watch them, and then shares her opinion on his films.

Previously, Aayush broke his silence regarding the speculations that he married Salman’s sister for money. The actor, who has been trolled repeatedly for the same reason, once spoke on the matter to the Times of India. Aayush revealed that his wife is a strong and confident woman and this constant trolling has not affected her or their marriage in any way. Sharing that he was hurt when people speculated that he married Arpita for her money, the actor mentioned:
“Arpita is a very strong, confident woman, and it is amazing to have her as a partner. She accepts who she is. This constant trolling hasn’t affected us because she’s seen this side of showbiz, while I was new to it. What hurt me the most was that the trolls came up with a theory that I married her for money and to become an actor. I loved Arpita and so I married her! The good thing is that she knew it, I knew it, and our families knew it.”
