All eyes are on Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt's wedding. Well, it seems the couple is not throwing any lavish wedding reception for the Bollywood Hindi movie industry. According to social media reports, Aamir Khan and Gauri will register their marriage at their Bandra house located in Mumbai.
The first half of the day will have a small wedding ceremony of the pair where their family members and closest friends will come for the intimate ceremony. Aamir and Gauri then will reportedly register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act. There are no reception plans but a reported intimate wedding celebration will take place at Aamir's house.
According to social media reports, Aamir and Gauri want a very simple and intimate wedding ceremony. What will make his wedding with Gauri extra special is the fact that Aamir's kids from his earlier two weddings will be involved in his wedding ceremony with Gauri Spratt.
For the unversed, Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta, and the ex-couple was blessed with Junaid and Ira Khan. Well, Ira got married to a fitness trainer called Nupur Shikhare. Aamir then found love in filmmaker, Kiran Rao and they had a son called Azad. Aamir's would-be third wife, Gauri, also has a son from her earlier marriage.
The actor recently held a party as his production house named, Aamir Khan Productions completed 25 years. It had started off with Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2001 classic hit movie, Lagaan. However, it seems Aamir and Gauri are not interested in keeping a huge wedding reception bash for their industry colleagues and friends.
Aamir Khan and his current fiancee, Gauri Spratt, had first met one another reportedly via his cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru. The pair had reportedly dated for a year before Aamir introduced Gauri to the world during his 60th birthday in March 2025. Fans of the actor have been waiting for updates on his wedding plans. The actor, in an interview with Variety India, had confirmed his wedding with Gauri and had said:
"Yes, that is true. But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level."
Aamir Khan and his current fiancee, Gauri Spratt, reportedly live together at his Bandra residence. Aamir had earlier confirmed that he will marry Gauri on July 5, 2026. The actor, earlier speaking about Gauri, had stated that he already is married to her. His relationship with her has been a progression of their partnership. In his words:
"I am at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other, and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I'm already married to her."
For the unversed, Gauri Spratt has been a Bengaluru resident and knows to balance her professional and personal life. She has a young son named, Quinn from an earlier marriage. Gauri has been the granddaughter of Philip Spratt who was a British-born Communist. During the 1920s, he had journeyed to India, reportedly, and had indulged in the independence struggle of India.
