Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter, Ira Khan is a bundle of talent and is quite active on social media. Every now and then, Ira makes sure to give a glimpse of her life by sharing pictures on her social media handles. From talking about her mental health ordeals to revealing her clinically depressed state, Ira is quite open about her struggle with mental health.
While everyone is waiting for Ira's Bollywood debut, she has already made her debut behind the camera. In 2019, Ira had made her directorial debut with a theatre production, Euripides' Medea. The play was an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy, Medea and had starred her brother, Junaid Khan and actress, Hazel Keech.

Ira turned 25 on May 8, 2022, and celebrated her birthday with her loved ones. Pictures from Ira's birthday celebration are viral on social media, and it looks like, she had a pool party celebration. In the pictures, Ira was seen cutting her birthday cake with her parents, Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta and her half-brother, Azad Rao Khan. However, as soon as the pictures went viral, Ira was trolled brutally for donning a bikini while cutting her birthday cake, Calling her 'besharam', a netizen commented, "Kitni beshrm beti Hy or us sa ziyada beshrm bap", while another comment read as " Ye kaisi outfit h birthday celebrate krne ki."
Ira Khan is known for speaking her mind. A few months back, she had hosted a Q&A session. Amidst her Q&A session, one of the users had asked her if she is Aamir Khan’s son, and Ira had given a befitting reply. The user had written, “Aapto Ameer Khan sir ki son ho na.” Ira gave a classy reply to the user, questioning the gendered noun used. She had replied:
"I'm his daughter. But what even are these gendered nouns!?"

While Aamir was busy building his career, his personal life went for a complete toss. In an interview with News 18, Aamir had revealed the biggest regret in his life was when he was not available for his daughter, Ira. Talking about the same, he had stated:
"It’s my biggest mistake (not being able to spend enough time with kids). But I won’t blame my profession for it. Today, Ira is 23 but when she was 4-5, I wasn’t there for her. I was busy with films. Every kid needs their parents because when you are a child you have your own fears and hopes. But when she needed me the most, I wasn’t by her side to hold her hand when she would get scared. And, I know that moment will never come back."
For the unversed, Ira is currently dating her father's fitness trainer, Nupur Shikhare!
