A happy family is where you help each other grow, support one another in times of need and make everyone smile irrespective of all the differences that come your way. Also, have you ever brushed dust from those old photo albums and taken a look at all the good times you've spent with our loved ones? Admit it or not, you can spend hours looking at those poorly-lit pictures! And we bet Sanjay Kapoor too, must be doing the same when he came across the beautiful picture that we will share with you in the later paragraphs to come. What looks like Sanjay Kapoor loves to visit the old times as the 53-year-old star is mostly seen posting unseen pictures from their family album. Only recently, did Sanjay took to Instagram and posted a throwback picture of himself with a little Karisma Kapoor and her uncle, Rajiv Kapoor by his side. What looks like a picture from a function, the Sirf Tum star captioned the image as, “#majorthrowback #oldisgold @therealkarismakapoor #rajivkapoor”.

And now, a day after his bhabhi, Sridevi’s first death anniversary, Sanjay Kapoor once again posted a very happy throwback family picture of the Kapoor clan, wherein all the brothers were with their respective spouses- Sanjay Kapoor with wife, Maheep Kapoor, Anil Kapoor with Sunita Kapoor and Boney Kapoor with his now late wife, Sridevi Kapoor, along with a few other family members. What was even more mesmerising in the picture was that the members were all smiles for the camera! Captioning the picture with a heart emoji, here is the same for you to see:
Speaking about Sridevi’s shocking demise, Sanjay had shared in an interview back then, “We are completely shocked. She had no history of a heart attack. She was hale and hearty and looked happy at the wedding. I am shocked at how quickly things turned for the worse. She was looking forward to Janhvi’s debut and her own films. None of us saw this coming, she didn’t either.” (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor Shared An Emotional Note For Her Late Mother Sridevi On Her First Death Anniversary)

Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor had held a puja in Chennai (Sridevi’s maternal home), in memory of Sridevi’s mrityu tithi, which fell on February 14, 2019, though the date of her passing away was on February 24. A few photographs of the same had surfaced online. Checkout one of the picture from the same:
We also shared with you that to commemorate one year of Sridevi’s passing away, hubby Boney Kapoor had auctioned a favourite purple kota saree of the actress and the money earned through the same went to a non-profit charitable trust, Concern India Foundation. The auction was being hosted on a handcraft product website, for which, the bidding amount began from Rs 40,000 and went upto lakhs. Sharing a memoir of Sridevi and some details about the bid, the statement at the auction website could be read as, “While the entire industry was awestruck by the unstoppable phenomenon called Sridevi, the audience was falling in love with a woman who was a firecracker in disguise. Only a few actors can be remembered for their screen names, Sridevi was definitely one of them.”
In an interview, Boney Kapoor spoke about his insurmountable loss when they lost Sridevi. He had shared, “I am trying to be both a mother and a father to my children. She was suddenly gone. These past months have been very difficult. Everything went on a freeze-pause in our lives. There were so many things left unsaid and undone. Now I am finally picking up the pieces again trying to put my life together for my children’s sake. There were things that were put on pause. I am trying to resume my life. I am yet to come to terms with the fact that she’s gone forever.”
Soon after Sridevi passed away, husband Boney Kapoor had written a heart-wrenching letter to his wife. The same could be read as, “Losing a friend, wife and mother of your two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family, we have tried to face this unbearable loss.” (Must Read: Sridevi's Last Family Pic With Boney And Khushi Ahead Of Death Anniversary, Will Make You Emotional)
The letter concluded with, “To the world, she was their Chandni the actor par excellence…their Sridevi but to me, she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls, my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything their life. She was the axis around which our family ran.”
It has already been one year since the passing away of a legend and looks like we still can’t get over the loss. Sending our respect to Sridevi and prayers to the family.
