“I threw the ball in her court, and y’know, I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future.”
After this statement by Travis Kelce, the 33-year-old singer, Taylor Swift was spotted sitting in a VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 24, 2023. This move sent her friends and the media into a frenzy. People couldn’t keep their calm over the fact that those rumours of a brewing romance between the two, could actually be true. Escalating things by another notch, Swift and Kelce were seen walking out together after the game.

As the rumours began to settle down, Taylor Swift decided to make another public appearance. She was seen on October 1, 2023, at MetLife Stadium to support the NFL player, Travis Kelce during his game against the New York Jets. For the occasion, she was accompanied by her close friends, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, and even Hugh Jackman. A source said to People:
“Swift and Kelce are still just getting to know each other and that it’s nothing too serious.”
Withholding the meaning of the phrase ‘third time’s the charm’, Taylor Swift attended yet another one of the football star's home games, this time against the team, Denver Broncos on October 12, 2023. Swift was seen wearing a red Chiefs jersey over a black top and grey skirt and spent time with Kelce's parents. Donna Kelce, Travis’ mom, was even spotted wearing a beaded friendship bracelet inspired by Taylor Swift.
After weeks of speculation, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce share their first PDA moment while heading for a Saturday Night Live afterparty on October 14, 2023. The couple was spotted showing affection to each other at a lavish party in New York City. According to sources, the two stars were seen kissing and being intimate throughout the night. Travis had his arms wrapped around Taylor's waist until they eventually departed the party at around 4 a.m. An insider disclosed to Page Six:
“Travis and Taylor seemed to really be enjoying the night, and each other, even kissing throughout the night.”
