After being in a romantic relationship for quite some time, the actress broke many hearts of her fans when she announced her breakup with Rohman Shawl in 2021. However, as now she made a stunning appearance at producer, Vishal Gurnani and Juhi Parekh Mehta’s pre-Diwali bash, along with Rohman, it seemed that the duo has rekindled their love and were making it official.
On November 7, 2023, Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl were spotted gracing producer, Vishal Gurnani and Juhi Parekh Mehta’s pre-Diwali bash. As they entered the event venue, they were seen holding each other's hands. While Sushmita looked stunning in a black saree with a shimmery border, Rohman looked dapper in a white kurta-pyjama set paired with a green jacket. Afterwards, they were also seen striking a cosy pose for the paps stationed over there. This was enough for the duo to make their relationship official, and together, they looked simply beautiful.

In a recent interview with Radio Mirchi, Rohman Shawl had once praised his ladylove, Sushmita Sen. Rohman showered the gorgeousness with compliments and said that whatever she does, she is amazing, and it is great to be around her. Rohman shared how inspirational Sushmita is that one cannot really fathom the amount of inspiration that she throws. Elaborating on the same, Rohman stated:
"You just have to be around her. It’s not like on Instagram, she has that around her, you are in her presence and you feel, ‘so wow."
In the same interview, Rohman also hinted about the rumours that evolved around him and Sushmita, that they are back together. Talking about the same, Rohman added that they look good together and they don't live for people. Sharing tidbits about the same, the handsome model mentioned that no one could keep commenting on everything people say, and then mentioned that they live they aren't answerable to anyone.

After Sushmita and Rohman's breakup in December 2021, rumours were rife that the actress was dating Lalit Modi. The rumours began when Lalit posted a couple of mushy pictures with Sushmita, and announced his new beginnings on July 14, 2022. However, after a few months, it was reported that the two had ended their relationship, for the reasons best known to them.
