In a recent interview with Radio Mirchi, Sushmita Sen's ex-boyfriend, Rohman Shawl praised the former. Rohman showered Sushmita with compliments and said that whatever she does, she is amazing, and it is great to be around her. Rohman shared how inspirational the actress is that one cannot really fathom the amount of inspiration that Sushmita throws. Elaborating on the same, Rohman stated:
"Whatever she does she’s amazing and it’s a great learning to be around her. You can’t really fathom the amount of inspiration she just throws around, you just have to be around her. It’s not like on Instagram, she has that around her, you are in her presence and you feel, ‘so wow."

In the same interview, Rohman Shawl talked about the rumours that evolved around the gossip that Rohman and Sushmita are back together. Talking about the same, Rohman added that they look good together and they don't live for people. Sharing tidbits about the same, the handsome model mentioned that no one could keep commenting on everything people say. Rohman then mentioned:
"We look good together. Doesn’t matter, we don’t live for people. You do your things; what people want to say, it’s up to them. You don’t have to answer anybody. We can’t keep on commenting on everything that people are saying. We live our lives, that’s it."
Further, in the interview, when Rohman Shawl asked about working with Sushmita Sen, he said that even to frame himself there, he has to work a lot. He also added that if someone is fond of a person, he/she loves everything about that individual. Talking about their bonding, Rohman said that Sushmita beats him every time in chess as the former doesn't like losing. Rohman added:
"To reach that level, even to be in a frame with her, I have to work a lot. Inshallah I will reach there someday...I think when you really are fond of a person, you like everything about them. I dislike that she manages to beat me in chess a lot and I don’t really like losing."

The former miss universe, Sushmita Sen started dating the model, Rohman Shawl, in 2018. During their dream-like relationship era, the duo made their fans go gaga over their mushy camaraderie. However, Rohman and Sushmita shocked everyone when they announced their breakup in 2021. Taking to her IG handle, the actress addressed her breakup rumours and said:
"We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!"
After Sushmita and Rohman's breakup, the rumours were rife that the actress had been dating Lalit Modi. The rumours began when Lalit Modi posted a couple of mushy pictures, announced his new beginnings with Sushmita, and even made their relationship official on July 14, 2022. However, after a few months, it was reported that the two had ended their relationship.
