Navya… Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal actress, Somya Seth restarted her life with her second husband, Shubham Chuhadia. For the unversed, Somya, who was last seen in a TV show, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, in 2016, was blessed with a son, Ayden with her first husband, Arun Kapoor. However, the actress suffered huge domestic abuse in her first marriage and parted ways with Arun after some time. Recently, on June 22, 2023, Somya tied the knot with Shubham in a white wedding. Since then, she has been living a merry life with Shubham and her son, Ayden. Proof of the same is found on her social media handles.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Somya Seth opened up about how she met her second husband, Shubham Chuhadia. She mentioned that their first meeting happened when she started finding a bigger space with her son, Ayden since he was growing up. Shubham, who is an architect by profession, became her housemate. This is how friendship grew between them, which later blossomed into love. She also mentioned that Shubham is like a 'kintsugi' for her, which means the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. Somya said:
“From housemates, we became friends and we grew close during the tough pandemic times and then decided to be together ever since. His being part of my life has been like kintsugi. He is 'The One' is not a one-day feeling instead it’s my everyday feeling.”

Shubham has taken a significant part of not only Somya's life but also her son, Ayden's growing period. And the former actress, being an avid social media user, keeps sharing heartwarming pictures of him and her son. For instance, taking to her IG handle on June 18, 2023, Somya shared a couple of pictures of Ayden and Shubham. In the pictures, Shubham was seen spending some beautiful time with the little boy. From going on vacations to posing with stunning backdrops, the duo was seen enjoying the little moments of joy. Along with the pictures, Somya thanked Shubham and wrote a heartfelt note to mark Father's Day. Somya's note can be read as:
“Every day we are so grateful for you!! Day after day - our respect and love for you only grows!! Thank you for all that you do everyday for this family. Thank you for always putting Ayden and his needs first. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for being the perfect role model in our lives. You are loved and celebrated everyday!!”
Somya is currently a real estate agent. She announced the same in April 2021. Afterwards, Somya had talked about how she shaped her career as a real estate agent. The 33-years-old gorgeousness also threw light on her path of becoming a businesswoman. She had written in one post:
“Growing up I have seen my grandfather and father run a business & always wanted to be a businesswoman. Real estate has allowed me to do just that. My curiosity has led to the exploration & knowledge about how homes are constructed and how location is the most important key in valuation of a home.”

Somya Seth went through a lot in her first marriage with a US-based businessman beau, Arun Kapoor. In January 2017, Somya tied the knot with Arun and said goodbye to her acting career. Post-marriage, she shifted her base to the United States with Arun. Then, in August 2017, they were blessed with a baby boy, whom they named Ayden. However, their relationship turned dark as the actress accused him of domestic violence. In addition, she also stayed in the 'Safe house' for quite some time, where women suffering from domestic abuse stay to heal the trauma in the US. As a result of the turmoil, Somya and Arun ended their marriage and got divorced in 2019. Now, Somya and Arun have joint custody of their son, Ayden.
Earlier, Somya had once opened up about dealing with pre-natal depression during her pregnancy. Penning a long and heartfelt note on her IG handle, she revealed how she constantly had suicidal thoughts. Motivating millions of her fans who have been facing such a situation, she requested them to speak out with someone before doing anything fatal. Somya further recalled how during her pregnancy, there were frequent occasions on which she madly hunted for different ways to kill herself, all the while as she covered it with her bright smile. In her concluding statements, Somya mentioned how she could not fulfil her thoughts of committing suicide as at the end of the day, she was risking not one but two lives.
Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Somya Seth talked about suffering from domestic violence in her marriage with Arun and mentioned how she was completely bruised. Somya also revealed that she couldn't look in the mirror for days. However, her thoughts of harming herself were brushed away when she thought she couldn't harm her child. In her words:
"I remember this one time when I was standing in front of the mirror, unable to recognise my own self. I was completely bruised. I didn't eat for several days even though I was pregnant. I couldn't dare to look at the mirror for a few days and when I finally did, I just wanted to end my life. However, I was pregnant. And that's when I felt that if I die my child would not know how much I love him/her. He would have to live without a mother for the rest of his life. I could kill myself but could never think of harming my own child. So yes, that's how my son Ayden saved my life."
