Rashmika Mandanna is a powerhouse of talent and there are no second thoughts about the same. The actress has created a whirlwind with her acting talent in pan-Indian film industries, and has been hailed as one of the leading divas of her times. Apart from her acting prowess, Rashmika rules zillions of hearts for her pleasing personality, charming smile and breathtaking looks.
A few months back, Rashmika Mandanna became a subject of meme and trolling after a clip of her dialogue from the film, Animal went viral. In the said glimpse, she could be seen delivering a dialogue to her co-star, Ranbir Kapoor in a gritted tone, displaying anger. However, it grabbed attention of the audience for all the wrong reasons, as they not just mocked Rashmika’s acting skills, but also claimed that the dialogue was indecipherable.

Recently, in an interaction on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, Rashmika Mandanna opened up on the extensive criticism she received for her 9-minute-long monologue in the film, Animal and remarked how everybody on the film sets loved it thoroughly. However, the actress remarked that she was shocked to see the negative responses she got for that particular scene, right at the time of the film’s trailer launch. In her words:
“The Karwa Chauth scene which was a nine-minute long scene and while doing the scene, people on the set loved it. They were clapping and felt it was done so well. But the trailer came out and I was trolled so much for that one particular dialogue from the same scene. So I thought, I did the 9-minute long scene and everyone on the set liked it, but people now are trolling me for the same. So am I living in a bubble? Like are people not gonna like this scene?”
Moving forth in the conversation, Rashmika stated how she absolutely dislikes when actresses get trolled for their physical body. But in her case, the reaction from the audience was different, as it was over her dialogue delivery. As a result, the diva highlighted how at that point of time, she wished to interact with these trollers in real time and understand exactly what their point of indifference was about. She said:
“I don’t like people trolling women on their bodies.. as long as that’s not the case and they’re trolling me about my films, cinema, my face in the film when I say the dialogue… I know how the performance was. I have done the performance five months ago. Because you know what you’ve shot, but people don’t know. People just know that like those 10 seconds. So I don’t want to ever be in my life where I’m living in a bubble. I need to be on the ground. I need to talk to people. I need to know what’s really going on.”
Previously, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, Rashmika Mandanna recalled a particular moment during the shooting of her film, Animal, that took a toll on her emotions. The actress talked about a scene when she was supposed to slap her co-star, Ranbir Kapoor. She talked about how her director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga asked her to go with the flow of emotions, and thus she was finally able to pull off the scene. However, soon after that, she started crying profusely, as she was extremely worried about hurting Ranbir too much with the gesture.

For the unversed, Rashmika Mandanna’s personal life often becomes a part of headlines, as she is rumoured to be in a relationship with actor, Vijay Deverakonda. While the duo might not have either accepted or refuted the speculations, their chemistry and banter with one another fuel the rumours time and again. Earlier, while speaking to We Are Yuvaa, Rashmika talked about her bond with alleged beau, Vijay Deverakonda. She said:
“Viju and I, we sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution in it. I take his advice in anything that I do. I need his opinion, and he is not a ‘yes’ person.”
