For the unversed, UT 69 traces down Raj Kundra's experience of his confinement days. It was in 2021 when Raj was taken under the jail custody of Arthur Road jail, Mumbai, for his alleged involvement in the adult film racket case. And there's no denying the fact that such an incident turned his family and wife, Shilpa Shetty's world upside down. However, Shilpa stood like a strong pillar beside Raj in his hard days. And now, as the movie is on the silver screens, Shilpa penned a long note to wish her hubby luck, and it's unmissable.
Taking to her IG handle on November 3, 2023, Shilpa Shetty dropped a clip from Raj Kundra's film, UT 69. In this clip, we can see Raj getting emotional as he was seen bidding goodbye to his jail inmates after getting bail. Sharing the video, Shilpa penned a long note and heaped praises on her 'cookie', Raj.

The diva poured her heart out in the note and wrote that she is proud of him and his bravery. The actress further added that she admires the fact that her husband embraced the bad experience in a positive way rather than getting doomed by the same. An excerpt from Shilpa's long note can be read as:
"My dearest Cookie..I know I say many things… but, this is something I want you to remember! YOU are special & brave, and I am soooo proud of you.Many people go through hardships… some become cynical, some bitter, & some even change. What is admirable is how YOU have taken it all in your stride and embraced life’s journey with positivity."
Further in her note, Shilpa Shetty talked about Raj Kundra's film, UT 69 in detail and shared how the movie celebrates the human spirit and traces how one can turn adversities into strength. On the same note, Shilpa thanked the entire team of UT 69 and showered praise upon them for the way they portrayed an incredible story through the camera lens.
In the concluding segment of her note, Shilpa Shetty penned a sweet note for her darling hubby, Raj Kundra as he marked his acting debut with the movie, UT 69. Heaping praise on Raj, Shilpa wrote that Raj's acting in this film has been very natural. Shilpa also jokingly added that she thought that in their home, there was only one actor, and now there are two of them. Shilpa wrote:
"It’s a slice of your life, @onlyrajkundra, and you have put your life into it. Wishing you all only the very best. As an actor, you are a natural! Unbelievable, considering it’s your first film (I thought I was the only actor at home now I stand corrected)."

Earlier, during the trailer launch event of Raj Kundra's film, UT 69, the businessman-turned-actor opened up about his wifey's reaction to his decision to make a film on his jail stay. Raj shared that Shilpa was a bit dicey about the same, and a flying chappal even came at his face when he first let Shilpa know about it. But later, when Shilpa heard the story from the director, she eventually supported it.
