Janki Bodiwala calls herself a 'breakfast girl' and lives by the motto, 'You got one life ..live it up!', as per her official Instagram handle, which has a massive fanbase of 1.4 million followers. The third line of her IG bio is why she is currently leading all the headlines. The line that reads, "SHAITAAN taking over cinemas on 8th March". The actress is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood with the spine-chilling horror film, Shaitaan.
The film is directed by Vikas Bahl and features a stellar star cast, including Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyothika, who is also making a comeback in Hindi cinema after a hiatus. It was on February 22, 2024, when Janki Bodiwala dropped the trailer of her horror thriller, Shaitaan, on her Instagram handle, and it simply broke the internet. One look at the trailer and Janki clearly overshadowed her co-actors, Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan and Jyothika.

During the trailer launch of Shaitaan, Ajay Devgn heaped praises on his young co-star, Janki Bodiwala. The iconic actor admitted that she had out-performed him, R. Madhavan and Jyothika in the film. Calling her a 'fabulous talent', Ajay Devgn indeed pumped up the young diva ahead of her Bollywood debut. He said:
"They are all fantastic actors, and everyone knows that. She (Janki) has out-performed everybody. This young talent is simply fabulous!"
Janki Bodiwala was born on October 30, 1995, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to her parents, Kashmira Bodiwala and Bharat Bodiwala. She also has a brother named Dhrupad Bodiwala. Talking about Janki's educational qualifications, she completed her schooling at M K Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Ahmedabad. For graduation, she took admission in the prestigious Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science in Gandhinagar, where she pursued Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS).
After completing her graduation degree, Janki Bodiwala decided to pursue her passion for acting instead of making a career in dentistry. As a result, she participated in the 2019 Miss India beauty pageant. The actress finished the competition as one of the top three finalists from Gujarat.
Janki Bodiwala made her acting debut at the age of 20 with the film, Chhello Divas. The film was written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The film not only received rave reviews from the critics but also did a commendable job at the box office. Not only this, Chhello Divas was even made in Bollywood by the title, Days of Tafree.

Yash Soni is one of the biggest actors in Gujarati cinema. After showing his acting prowess in films like Chhello Divas, Shu Thayu?, Chaal Jeevi Laiye, Naadi Dosh, Raado, 3 Ekka, and many more, he has managed to create his fanbase across India. Apart from acting, Yash Soni often dominates headlines for his friendship with Janki Bodiwala. According to a report in The Times Of India, Yash Soni and Janki Bodiwala made their relationship Insta-official in May 2022.
The alleged couple had worked together in just two films, Chhello Divas and Naadi Dosh, but people are crazy over their chemistry. It was Yash Soni, who reportedly confirmed rumours of him being in a relationship with Janki Bodiwala, by posting a cutesy selfie on his IG handle.
Along with the lovely picture, Yash Soni penned a note that reads, "1+1 = Family. Uff… Despite the problems, delighted to announce that we're happy together!" However, what's interesting is that the post is no longer visible on Yash's IG handle, and it is not known whether he is still in a relationship with Janki Bodiwala or not.

After making a successful acting debut in Gujarati cinema, Janki Bodiwala worked in a series of films like O Taaree, Tamburo, Chhutti Jashe Chhakka, Tari Maate Once More, Bau Na Vichar, Naadi Dosh, and many more. While all these films have contributed heavily to Janki's journey as an actor in Gujarati cinema, it's fair to say that Vash is the one film that brought her nationwide fame and recognition. Vash is a horror thriller which is directed by Krishnadev Yagnik and Janki's performance in it caught the eyes of Bollywood producers.
As a result, she got her big break in Bollywood after Ajay Devgn and Vikas Bahl decided to make a remake of Vash in Bollywood by the title, Shaitaan.
