Sargun Mehta is one of the most gorgeous Punjabi actress and producer. She made her acting debut with the television serial 12/24 Karol Bagh. Soon, Sargun found her calling in Punjabi cinema, and she made her debut with the film Angrej. Just like her amazing career, Sargun's personal life is going smoothly, thanks to her equally supporting and loving husband, Ravi Dubey. The couple tied the knot in 2013 and have been enjoying the happiest phase of their life. However, it seems like people and their obsession with married women embracing pregnancy has not yet gone, and they have not yet stopped shaming them. Sargun went through the same during an interview.
Recently, a video of Sargun's interview was shared by a social media page, wherein the interviewer asked her that people wanted to know about her baby planning. This made Sargun uncomfortable as the interviewer said, "Janta ka yeh sawal hai baccho ka kya plan hai itne saal ho gaye wait karte karte, mai bhi bada hogya apko dekhte dekhte." However, Sargun looked irritated, and said:
"But yeh sawal ka tum logo se kya lena dena ya fir janta ko bhi kya lena dena."

However, the interviewer didn't stop there and asked her again about what are her thoughts on kids. Sargun replied that whenever they feel like it is the right time to move into the phase, they will, and right now isn't. The host further asked, "Fir bhi aisa kab." To this, Sargun looked uncomfortable and said:
"Nai aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Nai. I don't know."
As soon as the video was uploaded, netizens flooded the comments section and came in favour of Sargun Mehta and bashed the interviewer for forcing her to answer. One user wrote, "Typical Indian society-“ shadi kab ho raha hai umar nikal raha hai then…baccha kab hoga!” Areeee khud zindagi jiyo logoko bhi jine do." Another commented, "The audacity, she's absolutely right, tum logo ko kya lena dena bhai?? Do you think they don't talk about this or they're waiting foe such judgemental intervention."
Sarung knows how to stop the murmurs around her pregnancy in style. Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the Saunkan Saukne actress opened up about her pregnancy. The actress clearly stated that there are more important things other than pregnancy. Sarung also added that she is still trying her best to make a mark in the industry. She was quoted as saying:
“It’s like that’s the only thing you expect out of a couple. It’s putting down the entire institution of marriage, if that’s the only thing we’re supposed to do. I’m not saying that anybody who is getting pregnant or wants to have a baby is wrong. People have different priorities and goals in life. Some people achieve when they’re 25, some achieve it when they’re 40. Only when you feel that you’re satisfied with what you want to do it life, can you move ahead and give somebody else happiness. It’s not something you can do while you’re still struggling or clawing to be someone. I am on a different journey at the moment.”
