Taimur Ali Khan is one of the favourite celeb kids, and everyone loves to know what this little kid is up to. We all saw him making his debut at the annual Kapoor Christmas celebrations that took place at late Shashi Kapoor’s house. While he got clicked by the paparazzi outside the house, it was the moment of rejoicing for all of us.
It was because we saw this little munchkin walking for the first time holding his parent’s hands. Talking about Taimur, Saif said in an interview, “He’s a very cute kid. Watching him walk for the first time is like watching a drunk baby. It’s hysterical and so cute. So, it’s a wonderful part of our lives.” Saif also revealed what they fondly call Taimur at home.
Saif said, "You have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it'll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It'll be manners, it'll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It'll be discipline from young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He'll be very well behaved. And honestly if he does his namaste right, he'll score points. Have you seen Sara's aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. TIM by the way.” Speaking of the genetics that Taimur has, Saif retorted, “He's blue-eyed. He's a genetic treasure trove. He is. He is got a bit of Rabindranath Tagore, he's got a bit of Raj Kapoor, he's got a bit of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, he's got a bit of Bhopal...I don't know..he's beyond me. He's gone. Let's see what happens.”
In an interview, Saif Ali Khan spoke about the media attention his younger son is getting. He remarked, “It would be a little arrogant to hide him. The press- they only want a picture, because people are interested in what this kid is like. It’s fine, it’s not such a big deal. You go to the airport and they take your picture. They’re not chasing your car or doing anything. He will grow up to understand that his parents are quite down to earth and are privileged people. He will not get away with certain comments and remarks in front of us. My parents and Kareena’s parents insist that children learn the values.”
He further added, “I think he will soon get used to being clicked and hopefully, he should get comfortable with it, too. If he grows up to be like me, I think at some point the poor chap will wish no one was watching him. I am afraid; all this just goes with the territory.” While promoting his film, Kaalakaandi, Saif was asked about his take on his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback film, Veere Di Wedding. To which the 47-year-old actor said, "Had you asked this question to her, she would have probably thrown something at you, like a shoe, maybe. As according to her, she has always been around."
