One of the most shocking breakups of 2016 was that of actor Pulkit Samrat and Salman’s rakhi sister, Shweta Rohira. After years of being in a steady relationship, they tied the knot but things went sour between them.

The estranged couple parted ways, only after a year of their marriage. Pulkit and Shweta had a big fat destination wedding in Goa in November 2014, but their happiness didn’t last longer.
The news of problem in their love paradise started doing the rounds in 2015, but Shweta kept on trying to mend things. The estranged couple finally started living separately from the beginning of 2016.
They have been constantly in news, but always for the wrong reasons. Shweta blamed Pulkit’s Sanam Re co-star, Yami Gautam for breaking their marriage.

She also lashed out at Pulkit for cheating on her. Shweta accused both Yami and Pulkit for the marriage falling out. With each passing day, things were only getting uglier between Shweta and Pulkit and there were no signs of reconciliation!
Well, according to the reports, Shweta has finally taken the first step to end her marriage. The lady was seen in the Bandra family court, filing for divorce from Pulkit Samrat.
Their decision to file for the divorce was pending for a very long time. Both Pulkit and Shweta were present during the time of fulfilling all the legal formalities. Advocate Mrunalini Deshmukh is representing Shweta’s case.
