Pakistani actress, Iqra Aziz became a household name in India with her impeccable and versatile acting in the Pakistani TV series, Suno Chanda and its sequel, Suno Chanda 2. Audiences in both the countries loved the on-screen chemistry between the leads, Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed, and the humorous acting of the entire cast. In 2014, at the young age of 17, Iqra began her journey in the world of glitz and glam with her debut in the drama, Kissey Apna Kahein. Now, at the age of 25, Iqra has achieved great success and even has a Netflix deal to her name.
The actress's personal life is just as captivating as her professional one. She has fallen in love with Yasir Hussain, a Pakistani screenwriter, and their love story is nothing short of a fairytale. On September 19, 2023, the Pakistani diva, Iqra Aziz appeared on a show named Mazaq Raat, hosted by actor, Imran Ashraf. During the show, Iqra spoke about her professional as well as private life. When she was asked about the biggest achievement of her life, she immediately said that it was her son, Kabir. She added:
“Mera beta, Kabir. Allah ki taraf se naseeb mein tha. But mujhe lagta hai ki ye meri zindagi ki sabse haseen part hai, jisko main sochti hun ki bohot acche time pe Allah ne mujhe de diya."
Further into the show, the co-host, Ayesha Shakoor Dogar, asked the 25-year-old actress about the best quality of her husband, Yasir Hussain. Ayesha asked Iqra to reveal that one quality of Yasir after which she decided to marry him. To which, Iqra candidly revealed that she never wanted to marry someone from the same industry. But Yasir changed her mind. His relentless support has been the quality that made Iqra sure of him. She said:
“Sabse badi baat ye hai ki, kyunki wo khud ek actor hai, and we are from the same industry, maine ye hamesha se socha hua tha ki main industry mein se kabhi shaadi nahi karungi. Lekin jab main Yasir se mili toh wo ek hota hai ki agar aapke naseeb mein koi likha hua hota hai toh aur Allah aapke dil mein jagah bana deta hai, toh wahi cheez huyi aur bas foran se decide ho gaya ki haan hum dono ek dusre k liye thik hai.”

Iqra Aziz further talked about how Yasir’s support and love have given her much confidence. She said that she always wants her life to get better with every passing day. Talking about the same, she said:
“Aur hum dono ek dusre ke liye thik isliye hain kyunki wo hamesha mujhe itna support karte hai aur itna confidence dete hai. Mera ye hota hai ki mera har din bas mera pehle se behtar ho. Apne liye, dusro ke liye, ya main jaise kisi k saath bhi hoon. He gives me so much confidence, support, love, toh wo wali ek cheez jo hai na ki aapka partner jo hai wo aapko behtar se behtar banne ke liye confidence deta hai, support karta hai, toh I think that’s what he gives me."
For those who may not know, Yasir Hussain went down on one knee to propose to the love of his life, Iqra Aziz publicly at the 18th Lux Style Awards on July 7, 2019. Later, on December 28, 2019, the two of them had a grand wedding. The lovely couple welcomed their first child, a son named Kabir, in July 2021.
