Kishwer Merchantt is one of the most popular faces of Indian television. She made some memorable performances in shows like Hip Hip Hurray, Remix, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani, Ek Hasina Thi among others. She also participated in the controversial show, Bigg Boss 9 in 2015, and gained massive fandom. Speaking about her personal life, Kishwer is married to actor, Suyyash Rai and they are blessed with a son, Nirvair.
Taking to her IG handle on October 7, 2023, Kishwer Merchantt dropped a before and after picture of herself. On taking a closer look, Kishwer’s impressive physical transformation can be easily seen. Along with the picture, Kishwer penned a caption, where she revealed how she was able to loose 8 kilos of weight post-partum, over 5 months of rigorous training. She elaborated how her journey to weight loss was not sudden, and she gave a year to herself so that she could enjoy her food cravings post-partum. Her caption can be read as:
“Some will still comment ki itna difference nahi lag Raha hai .. well let me tell u the difference is just 8kgs and 3-4 inches overall !!5 months of training with @iam_abhijithpoojary at @kreo.fit has made me stronger and fitter !! Also I did this at my own pace , enjoyed eating for a year and a half after my delivery , and now loving this phase too!”

Back in November 2022, Kishwer had taken to her social media handle, and dropped a glimpse of herself doing an exhaustive workout session. Right after a year of her son, Nirvair’s birth, Kishwer could be seen a deadlift with a maximum weight of 70 kg. Along with the glimpse, Kishwer elaborated how it was very difficult for her at first, as she wasn’t able to lift the bar. Nevertheless, she did not lose hope and was able to take the first step towards fitness.
On June 2, 2023, Kishwer had taken to her IG handle and dropped a throwback picture of herself from her pregnancy days, when she glammed up for her maternity shoot. The diva looked stunning in a green-hued frilled dress, as she flaunted her bare baby bump. Captioning her post, Kishwer had written:
“Thank You @nirvair.rai once again for choosing Me."

In an earlier interview with the Hindustan Times, Kishwer had opened up on facing people’s criticisms for not being able to feed her son, Nirvair for a few days after his birth. She revealed that after having a c-section delivery, it was a little difficult for her normal milk supply to start so that she could breastfeed her baby. However, recalling the nasty comments she received for not being able to do so, she mentioned:
“You also have to feed the baby, and then there is no production of milk properly on the first three days. You get frustrated, on top of it, you have people around you who are like nahi breastfeeding is very important, do this and that.”
