Hema Malini is one of the most talented evergreen actresses of Indian cinema. Known to many even today as the ‘Dream Girl’ of Bollywood. The 75-year-old diva continues to mesmerise everyone with her incomparable beauty, grace and charismatic personality. Apart from her identity as an actress, she is a reputed parliamentarian as well as a talented classical dancer. And recently, Hema left everyone’s jaws dropped with her stunning performance once again.
Taking to her IG handle on February 17, 2024, Hema Malini dropped gorgeous glimpses of herself in the midst of her performance at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The veteran actress donned a gorgeous blue-hued silk saree paired with a rust-hued blouse. Temple jewellery, on-point makeup and a flower adorned hairdo accentuated her look. Along with the pictures, Hema penned a note, wherein she expressed her feelings on being able to do raag seva at the shrine of Lord Ram. She wrote:
“This afternoon I gave a Bharat Natyam performance for Ram Lalla inside his temple. It was such a euphoric experience and I danced with passion which was appreciated by the public. A few photos of some moments from my dance captured for you.”

Earlier, on February 16, 2024, Hema Malini shared a glimpse of herself, wherein she seemed busy with her rehearsal, ahead of her main performance at the Ram Temple. Clad in a simple red saree, Hema could be seen acing her moves before the prestigious event. Along with the picture, Hema penned a heartfelt caption, that can be read as:
“In Ayodhya now with family and enjoying the divine darshan of Ram Lalla. Feel truly blessed esp as I will be doing my Raag Seva in the mandir for Ram Lalla. Many eminent artistes have already performed here and many more are lined up. It is a divine bulaava.”
This hasn’t been the first time when Hema Malini presented her dance in the city of Ayodhya. Earlier, on January 19, 2024, the actress shared glimpses of her performance right before the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Clad in a pink attire, she was seen nailing the role of 'Sita' in a rendition of the mythological epic, Ramayana.

Previously, in an interaction with ETimes, Hema Malini retrospected about her journey thus far in the showbiz. The actress expressed gratitude for being able to live up the image of ‘Dream Girl’. Moreover, she even revealed leading a happy life, expectant future and being surrounded by her loved ones. In her words:
“I am happy that I have been able to live up to my image of being a Dream Girl. I have had a wonderful innings in the film industry, working with great directors. I keep myself active with travel and dance, I want to look good and fit. Even today, if a good role comes my way, I will take it.”
