Esha Deol is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The diva won the hearts of her fans with her masterclass performances in movies like Kaal, Dhoom, Dus, and No Entry, among others. Moreover, Esha has been making the headlines owing to the reports about her personal life. For the unversed, Esha reportedly confirmed her separation from her husband, Bharat Takhtani, after twelve years of marital bliss. Although, the estranged couple hasn't mentioned the reason for their separation, as per a viral Reddit post, Bharat has reportedly cheated on Esha. Amid all this going on, a video made rounds on the internet, wherein Esha's mom, Hema Malini was left in tears as she called Bharat her 'son'.
The old video featured Hema Malini's appearance in the singing show, Indian Idol in 2020. In the video, the actress looked stunning in a pastel-hued shimmery saree, which she teamed with a matching blouse. Soft makeup, half-tied hair, a bindi, a layered neckpiece, and a pair of earrings added stars to her look. Esha can be seen showering her mom with love and praise through a video message. The video featured Esha saying that although Hema Malini is 'Dreamgirl' for everyone, for her and Ahana, the veteran actress is their mom.

In the video message, Esha Deol shared that her mom, Hema Malini has gone through a lot in her life, with which the former and her sister, Ahana are well familiar. Talking more about the same, Esha shared an unheard anecdote from her wedding day. The diva stated that her bidaai was a bit tough for her, just like any other girl, but through that rasam, Hema Malini was strong. Esha further remarked that when she left her house, her mom called her and burst out in tears. Hearing this anecdote, Hema again became teary-eyed.
Hema Malini further held her tears back and said that both Esha and Ahana were her two babies, and they had always been with her. Hema added that her two girls brought her two sons, in the form of sons-in-law. She also called Bharat and Ahana's hubby, Vaibhav Vohra, wonderful people. The actress also credited Dharmendra for the happiness of a fulfilled family.

For a few days, reports about something not being well between Bharat and Esha surfaced online. These rumours were formulated after Esha stopped posting about her now-estranged hubby, and the duo stopped making any public appearance. However, as per a report by the Delhi Times, Esha and Bharat confirmed their separation and issued a joint statement, wherein they stated that they mutually and amicably parted ways. In the statement, the duo asked people to respect their privacy and stated that even during this tough shift in their lives, their kids' welfare would be their utmost priority.
