On the occasion of Gul Panag’s ninth wedding anniversary with hubby, Rishi Attari in 2020, the Dor actress had taken to her social media handle and dropped candid pictures from her wedding festivities. While nearly every picture held a special memory and had a back story to it, it was the one featuring Gul’s bridal look that stunned everyone. For her D-Day, Gul looked exquisite in a pink-hued lehenga choli set which featured golden-hued embroidery all over it. Along with the snapshots, Gul penned how she had re-worn her mother’s lehenga for her wedding, and further revealed how her husband had arranged for a customised biker’s doli with a side-carriage so that she could sit comfortably with her heavy lehenga on it. She mentioned:

“9 years. But actually many more. Wearing my mother’s wedding lehenga. My mother was the ‘wedding planner’ and she executed our vision to perfection featuring every single custom with a fun twist! I wore my mother’s lehnga for the wedding.  Since I was wearing my mother’s lehnga, I was afraid of getting it stuck in the wheel. So the husband found a fabricator in Nangal who made side cars and ordered one. It arrived the night before the wedding.”

Much like every other newbie parent, Gul Panag and Rishi Attari’s life was completely changed post the arrival of their baby boy, Nihaal. And speaking about her new experiences of becoming a mother, Gul once in an interview with Verve magazine expressed her feelings on the same. She mentioned how the journey of motherhood had been filled with an array of emotions and learnings. In her words:

“I’ve always lived life on my own terms, and hopefully will always continue to do that. Rishi and I definitely wanted a baby and Nihal is a delightfully welcome addition to our family.
