Daughter of legendary actors, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha Deol made her debut with the film, Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, in 2002, for which she subsequently bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Later, she became a part of some of the most successful films, including Dhoom, Dus, No Entry, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, LOC: Kargil and many others. However, the actress failed to leave an indelible mark in the film industry.
While Dharmendra and Hema created their own niche in Bollywood, Esha Deol's acting trajectory is different from that of her star parents. Recently, a netizen shared a thread on Reddit and pointed out how Esha failed to encash the opportunity given to her. The user mentioned that despite being a part of the hit film, Dhoom, the actress has an unsuccessful acting career.

Soon after the post was shared on Reddit, netizens flooded the comment section with their reactions to the same. A netizen commented, "Check out her conversation style.. so entitled! Her whole real persona is so off putting.." Another penned, "I think she got married after soon, hence she got out of movies for that i guess!" A third user wrote, "Actually she didn't have much going till that. I recall her being plain and noticing oh okay she's fit and actually quite hot. She had I think ankahee after which also was her acting role. But then it was plain and side roles again and married soon after. Find her personality similar to Shraddha in that sense, just plain."

Esha Deol broke many barriers when she became the first daughter from the Deol family to enter the film industry. Not many know that Esha's father, Dharmendra was against the idea of her acting in films when she was just eighteen. However, she somehow convinced her father to allow her to act in films. Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Esha was asked about the reason Dharmendra didn't want her to enter films and the loving daughter shared that her father was protective of her. The actress also added that Dharmendra is an orthodox Punjabi male, who deeply cares about the women in his family.

If reports are to be believed, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani are planning to part ways after 12 years of their marriage. For the unversed, Esha and Bharat's separation rumours got ignited due to a viral Reddit post. Earlier, we stumbled upon a Reddit post which talked about how Esha Deol's husband, Bharat Takhtani cheated on her. In the post, a netizen claimed that they saw Bharat with his alleged girlfriend at a paid party in Bangalore. While many details about Bharat's ladylove are not known, the netizen shared that she lives in Bangalore.
