Along with the festive season, the shaadi season has also arrived in full swing. A lot of our favourite celebrities are either getting hooked or engaged to their better-halves.
Here is another famous lady who recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend in an intimate ceremony in her hometown.

Bronze Medalist at Rio Olympics, Sakshi Malik got engaged to her wrestler boyfriend Satyawart Kadian. The couple exchanged the rings in Rohtak on October 16 in a quiet ceremony. Sakshi was looking beautiful in a lehenga.
It was a private affair which was attended by only family members and close relatives. The wedding date is not yet decided but they will tie the knot by the end of this year.
Sakshi’s fiancé is a wrestler by profession, who rose to fame after winning a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games, 2014, in Glasgow. He was also the only Indian wrestler to win a medal at World Wrestling Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2013.

The groom-to-be’s father, Satyavan Pehelwan (who is also an Arjuna awardee) discussed about the wedding in an interview. He said:
"They've known each other. The marriage has been planned at the initiative of both the families."

After winning Bronze at Rio Olympics, Sakshi revealed that she will settle-down soon.
Here is what she had said in an earlier interview:
"I am going to get married this year. However, I can't reveal the name of my would-be husband. That's a secret. He is wrestler."
The 24 years old wrestler also talked about how supportive her partner is. She said:
"He is very supportive. He sees my dream as his own. I will get a friend after marriage. He will help in my preparation as well. I firmly believe that after marriage I will have no problem in pursuing my sport.”
The girl made India proud at the Olympics. We are so happy that she has found the man of her dreams and is soon entering a new phase of her life.
