Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik’s endearing camaraderie is not a secret to anyone. The duo has been friends since their teen years and maintained their relationship throughout the years. It was all going great until the Tere Naam actor tragically passed away on March 9, 2023, after a severe cardiac arrest. Even after the death of the ace actor-turned-filmmaker, his friend, Anupam Kher, remembers the actor at every opportunity he gets, and Satish’s birth anniversary was no different.
Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956, and this year marks the 66th birth anniversary of the late actor. To commemorate the same, his jigri yaar, Anupam Kher, shared a heartfelt note on his Instagram handle. Anupam Kher fondly remembered his friend and shared how he still craves his infectious positive energy and misses him. In his words:
“Happy Birthday my dearest #Satish! May God give you all the happiness where ever you. For me you are always around. In pics, in food, in conversations, when I am on my own, when I am with people. Your memory is infectious!”

Along with the note, Anupam Kher shared a reel video on his feed. The video consisted of all the duo’s memorable pictures from their young days and also a few from their recent lives. In the video, there was also a snap of Anupam with Satish Kaushik’s family, and it took us back to the time when the duo used to make appearances together at events.

Since the untimely passing of Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher has been a pillar of support for the family. The latter's consistent presence, often seen with the late actor’s daughter, Vanshika, is a testament to his unwavering commitment. A recent instance of this was when he took Vanshika out for a meal. Vanshika, in a printed t-shirt and a pink cross-body bag, and Anupam, in a blue-hued shirt and trousers, enjoyed a day out together.

Vanshika thanked Anupam Kher for taking her out for lunch. The little one shared that she used to go for breakfast and lunch with her dad, and now Anupam uncle is doing the same with her. The caption was so wholesome, and netizens loved Anupam Kher’s empathy for the Kaushik family.
