Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is currently the hot topic among OTT buffs. The debut web series of ace filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has simply swooned our hearts with its opulence and extravagant set, screenplay, and, the cherry on the cake, its star cast. The series stars famous Bollywood actresses, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Singha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and more in pivotal roles.
While the entire star cast did an excellent job, Richa Chadha stood out for her raw and authentic screen presence. The actress won every viewer's heart with her portrayal of her character, 'Lajjo'. Now, talking about the same, her husband, Ali Fazal, penned a very sweet note for the actress, who is soon going to be the mother of his child.

Ali Fazal, being the supporting husband he is, took to his Instagram account and shared a video for his wife, Richa Chadha. The video consisted of all the pleasant moments the couple spent, which were capsuled in a single footage. Along with the video, Ali penned an extremely sweet note for his dearest wife and sang praises of her performance in Heeramandi. Ali wrote:
"Only a fool would not take Lajjo and fly away!! (Lajjo check) You are simly the best and I feel so lucky ti share my notes with you in person.. congratulations partner on this mad success of #heeramandi. You've risen way way way above the norm you always do."
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Richa Chadha revealed that she shot for Heeramandi, ten days before her actual wedding to her beau, Ali Fazal. At that time, she had no plans of hopping into motherhood and enjoyed the opportunity of working with such a big director, as well as many eminent actresses and artists. Talking more about it, Richa added:
"I began shooting for Heeramandi literally 10-15 days before my wedding. And at that time, there was no thought of motherhood in the immediate future on my mind."

On February 9, 2024, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal announced the happiest news of their lives in a collaborative Instagram post. The couple shared a picture of a paper on which "1+1+3" was written. On the next slide, there was a snap of themselves looking much in love and holding each other's hand. Alongside, there was an emotion of a pregnant lady on the side.
