On March 17, 2024, Shweta Bachchan celebrated her 50th birthday at her home Pratiksha, which Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan gifted her last year. But Abhishek Bachchan, his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan's absence from the celebration yet again raises eyebrows about the family dynamics of the Bachchans.

On March 17, 2024, Abhishek made a picture compilation of his best moments with his didi, Shweta. He penned a heartfelt note for her as she turned fifty years old. The video featured adorable childhood moments of the two siblings with their parents, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan. Along with it, Abhishek penned a note and expressed how much 'Shweta di' meant to him.
However, netizens were quick to bash Abhishek Bachchan. A Redditor shared the screenshot of his wish for Shweta and recalled how he didn't put any effort while wishing Aishwarya. While some users showered love on the way Abhishek wished his sister, some slammed him for not wishing his wife, Aishwarya in the same manner.
During the Ambani's bash, we spotted Aishwarya and Shweta first time together. During the Hastakashar ceremony, Amitabh Bachchan made a starry entry with his family. In the video, we could see Amitabh arriving with his daughter, Shweta, and her children, Navya and Agastya, followed by Abhishek Bachchan. The superstar also waited for his bahu, Aishwarya, to join them with her daughter, Aaradhya.
While it was a rare moment, Aishwarya and Shweta maintained a safe distance, and despite the paparazzi's insistence to pose, they didn't stop. Judging by the expressions, there was definitely a moment of discomfort for Shweta, who maintained a straight face, and Aishwarya, who made sure to stay behind the entire Bachchan clan and keep a distance.
