First Indian Bride To Don Elie Saab's 30 Kg Gown


Meet our bride of the week, who became the first Indian woman to wear the world's famous designer, Elie Saab's custom-couture gown.

Our bride, Hanna S Khan, who is a fashion blogger, had gotten married to the man of her dreams, Shah Rukh Merchant. The wedding had taken place in Jai Mahal and Rambagh Palaces in Jaipur

The bride donned a silver ensemble for her nikaah


For the wedding day, the bride had opted for a beautiful silver jacket lehenga. She had accentuated her look with a two-layered neckpiece, a maang teeka and a minimalistic silver kaleere.


On the other hand, the groom had also looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani. He had finished off his look with a matching turban with a kalgi over it.

For reception, the bride wore Elie Saab's gown


For the reception day, the bride had picked a lovely gown with beautiful Swarovski crystal and sheer sleeves. Her gown had an 8-meter long trail and weighed around 30 kgs.


The bride had donned a minimalistic diamond neckpiece and matching earrings. Subtle makeup with highlighted cheeks and soft eyes completed her reception look.
