Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma has been hitting the headlines for quite some time now with rumours about their unhappy married life. However, they have cleared all such rumours and have been winning millions of hearts with their mushy romance on social media. The star wife also revealed her knee injury and that she might not be able to dance all her life, but her family and hubby become the strongest support system for her.
For the unversed, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma had tied the knot on December 22, 2020, leaving their millions of fans completely in awe of their wedding pictures. Taking to their respective Instagram handles, they had shared a series of pictures, wherein the cricketer looked handsome in a beige-coloured sherwani paired with a red turban, and a matching stole. On September 2, 2022, Dhanshree Verma took to her IG handle and shared a picture from the hospital's bed post her knee ligament surgery. In the picture, she was seen wearing hospital clothes and channels of fluids attached to her veins. The picture was captured post her successful surgery, however, even after bearing all the pains, she was seen in a lifted mood and was showing a thumbs up while posing for the lens. As soon as she shared the picture, it was her darling husband, Yuzvendra Chahal who dropped a loving wish for his wife in the comment section, and it was simply unmissable. He wrote:
"Get well soon wifey (bicep muscle showing arm flexing emoji)."

Talking about the rumours which were rife in the media in the past few weeks regarding Yuzvendra and Dhanshree's unhappy relationship, it all started when eagle-eyed netizens noticed the star wife has dropped 'Chahal' from her surname on Instagram. Now, Dhanashree's Instagram bio has only 'Verma' written as her surname. And netizens drew a link with Yuzvendra's cryptic IG story of August 17, 2022, wherein he had posted a picture that stated, 'New life loading.' Check out:
However, to address all such rumours, on August 18, 2022, Yuzvendra had taken to his Instagram stories and posted a picture note for his fans. He called out the separation news a rumour and requested everyone not to believe or spread things like this. Afterwards, on August 21, 2022, Dhanashree too, had taken to her IG feed and posted a few selfies along with a long note talking about the same. In her note, she mentioned her knee injury and how in these hard times, her family including her hubby, Yuzvendra was extremely supportive of her. An excerpt from her note can be read as:
"It’s a late morning coz’ I actually overslept; thanks to you guys. Needed all that sleep to recover. It’s funny though, I opened my eyes feeling so confident & strong today. Something I was seeking for the past 14 days. I had completely lost confidence due to my knee injury that happened while dancing (my last reel) & I landed up tearing my ACL ligament. I have been resting at home & the only movement I have had is from my bed to my couch (along with physiotherapy & rehab everyday). But what has also got me through this is the support of my near & dear ones including My husband, my family and my closest friends."
