Every picture had spoken volumes of simplicity and Yami became one of our favourite brides with her elegant bridal look. Ever since the wedding announcement, Yami has been delighting her fans with beautiful glimpses of the ceremonies.
To mark her mother's birthday on June 9, 2021, Yami Gautam posted a lovely picture from her wedding, featuring her mummy and sister, Surilie Gautam. Yami and Surilie posted the same picture to wish their mother with the caption, "Everyday we become a little bit more like our mother & we couldn’t be prouder! Happy birthday mummy." Surilie added the hashtags, #fearlesswomen #oursuperhero #blesseddaughters #prouddaughters, to her caption. The picture was proof of where Yami and Surilie got the elegance from!
For her wedding, Yami Gautam became the prettiest bride, who ditched the lehenga and opted for a traditional saree. Yami wore a traditional red saree with intricate gold detailing paired with the blouse that stood out for its floral motifs. Yami's bridal look was enhanced with a matching embroidered odhani, a regal gold choker set, maang teeka, chooda and kalire. Aditya Dhar complemented his bride in a classic ivory sherwani with muted goldwork.

To wish the newly-wedded couple, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar, her sister, Surilie Gautam posted a picture of the lovebirds on her IG handle with the caption, "Two very special people, one special day. On this beautiful occasion I wish you flowers of love. You have chosen the best partner who will always keep you happy and smiling #happiest #mybeautifulsister #married #tearsfullofjoy." Surilie later posted a couple of pictures with Yami from the wedding ceremonies, giving glimpses of their happy moments.
Yami Gautam, being a Himachali bride, followed the rituals wholeheartedly and sported traditional jewellery, accentuating her bridal look. A few days ago, Yami had posted a picture, flaunting her newly bridal glow and wearing a traditional outfit. Yami had captioned the picture as "Rind posh maal gindane draaye lo lo. Let's welcome the spring season."
Yami Gautam donned a red Banarasi saree featuring intricate motifs and a thick zari border. Yami's post-wedding look was accentuated with a mangalsutra, layered necklace, bindi, sindoor and chooda but it was the traditional addition to her pair of earrings that caught our attention. Yami wore aatheru, which is made of three ornamental elements, the dejhoor, the athoor and atah, and is traditionally worn by married Kashmiri women. Athoor, a small piece of gold attached to the lower end of dejhoor, is traditionally given by in-laws.
